"The second key... does it have to be refined too?" Theo asked as we were all sitting in a room in an inn on Camilla Island on Island 9. We're reasting here before leaving for our next stop.
"It has to be. All keys have to be." I answered and turned to Liam. "May I?"
"Y-yeah." He said but he was avoiding eye contact. His glasses have gotten crooked. Is he embarrassed?
"Can everyone leave the room first?" I asked the others with a smile.
"Alright then." Theo said reluctantly and the others followed him.
I turned my attention to Liam finally looked me in the eyes. He was blushing bright red and was pbviously trying to hide his embarrassment.
"Liam, close your eyes." I told him and he closed his eyes.
I couldn't help but giggled at his embarassment. Liam is really only able to show his true emotion in front of me. This is just like him, ever since we met, he has never shown his true emotions unless we were alone.
I pop the second key into my mouth and kiss Liam, his tongue invades my mouth taking the stone and I pull away. I call the others back in and as they sit down Liam spits the gem back out. The gem is bright yellow like the sun, a heliodor and has been shaped into a six-sided diamond.
I take it and fasten it to a bravelet and hand it to Liam who gladly accepts it.
"So, where do we go next?" Angie asked.
"To forest wrapped in mist, Fantasy Forest." I told them. "Somewhere in fantasy forest the third piece is hidden."
"Any idea where?" Alexis asked but I shook my head.
"Give me time and I'll remember." I told them.
Just then, my head feels dizzy, is it another vision?
I close my eyes and wiat for what will happen and what I hear are voices alone.
"Sylphid, Undine, Gnome, Salamander, I entrust you with these." A voice said. "Guard these until I return."
I open my eyes and feel confused, what was that? I haven't had a vision in months. Hmm... Sylphid, Undine, Gnome, Salamander, the elementals.
"You okay?" Zhen asked with a smiled and I nodded.
"Oh yeah, guess what I learned about while I went to the market earlier." Rachel said. "There's a festival later and it's in honor of the Spirit Sylphid."
"Sylphid?" Alistar sked.
"The elemental of the wind and the one who is said to protect these azure skies. Each world apparently has one of them." Theo answered. "Their like the Four Cardinal Beasts back in your world."
"I see. So you wouldn't bring this up if there wasn't any benefits for us, would you Rachel?" Reinhardt said.
"Yeah. In town earlier I heard the Sylphid is said to bless people with guidance and protection. I though maybe we could go and ask for protection on our journey." She smiled.
"I like that idea." I answered. "Let's all go."
"Alright then." Will sighed.
Later that day we all got ready for the festival and left the inn. As I'm rushing out the door and hit someone. A young woman, probably our age, with silver hair and green eyes with white skin. Dressed in a white blouse with a golden sky blue vest, she wore violet shorts with knee high socks and books.
"Ah, sorry, are you alright?" I asked her as I offered her my hand.
"Ah, I'm fine." She said and dusted off the dust from her skirt.
"Arata, something wrong?" Will asked.
"Ah, I just bumped into someone." I told him.
"Hmmm? There's no one there now." He said and I noticed the girl had disappeared.
"Maybe you were seeing things?" Angie said and I just shook it off.
"Let's go." I said and headed for the town. The festival was held at the city center and it was bustling with people and different races all to celebrate the elemental Sylphid. As we're wlaking through the crowd I see that silver haired girl again.
Just then, I felt a sudden pain in my head and a girl with silver hair in my mind smiling as she held an key in her hand. I chase after the girl wondeirng eho she is and get seperated from the others.
I chase after her through the crowd, into the alleys and down the coddle stone paths and finally catch up to as she stops before an old building.
"Good day, it's been a while, Master." She smiled and bowed her head. "I'm Sylphid of the Wind, the elemental of the Wind of the Watcher of this World."
"Hello, Sylphid." I smiled.
"I watch over this world, and, have been entristed with the key of the wind." She smiled as held a key in her hand. "Master, if you wish to retrieve the key from me, then you musy first face a trial."
"Trial?" I asked.
"Yes." She smiled.
"What kind of trial?" I asked.
"A trial to see if you are worthy of the Wind Key." She said and I sighed.
"Alright then." I answered.
"Good." She smiled and held her hand out towards me. "Now then, go back, to the past, to moment of choice, relive your own story."
I suddenly feel dizzy and I notice that there's a spell circle on my feet. I fall to my knees and as I close my eyes, I see Sylphid stare at.
When I open my eyes, I'm somewhere I haven't been to in a long time. My old home, where mom and dad were.
Why has she sent me here? She said to face the past, but why this past? How did this become the moment of choice? I never had to make a large choice when I was a child. The only time I made a choice was... no... it can't be. She sent me back, to the day before my parents died.
That means, the choice I have to make here is whether to stop my parents or let them go even though they'll die.
