As dusk began to set, the lights of the town came alive. From where we were we could see all the lights shining brightly. I knew Grandpa said he wanted to hold festival but I didn't expect it to actually happen.
"We should get down and get ready." Theo said and I nodded.
"It'll be a long way down." Andrew sighed.
"Ah, there's no need to float down there. We can just slide down." I told him.
"Slide down?" Ethan repeated and I pointed to a hole in the tree.
It connects to the an exit not far from the base of the tree and is big enough to fit two people. I can already hear the others coming down and after a minute of my arrival at the exit and the others soon follow.
"Where are we?" William asked.
"On the mountain peak the surrounds the village." I told him as I looked at the town and then at the setting sun.
I jump back into the town and see that the lights have come alive. Grandpa had us brought into his house the moment we returned. We soaked in the hot spring bath looking at the moon before getting ready for the festival. We changed into common clothes that we wore here in the village. A white loose shirt with long sleeves, black pants and knee boots. Everyone looked good in it. The girls we already at the village square apparently. We departed for the village square after Adonis finished fixing his clothes. He is so obsessed with his looks but I can't exactly say anything since aside from his looks he cares about his family the most.
When we arrived at the village center where everyone was waiting we saw the large bonfire lit at the center. Tables laden with food surrounded the area. We sat down and Grandpa stood up.
"Here's to Argent's safe return to us after seven years, cheers!" Grandpa shouted.
"Cheers!" We all answered.
The night was filled with lights, music merriment.
"Yo, what's got you so worried?" Some suddenly sits beside me. I turn yo see a young man with amber eyes and crimson hair staring at me. He has white skin and was dressed in a simple whige shirt with black pants but he had a buff build.
"Leon, where have you been?" Mitan asked.
"I was with Rachel and Angelica till a minute ago." He answered. "Apparently they're helping Ophelia with something."
"Oh, okay then." Adele smiled.
"Welcome home, Argent." Someone suddenly hugs me from behind.
I turn to see a girl with curly brown hair and golden eyes with white skin and another with blonde hair and brown eyes with white skin. Rachel and Angelica. Both are dressed in a a blouse and long skirt.
"Welcome back." Angie hugged me as her brown eyes was filled with tears.
"I'm home." I told them.
Just then, Ophelia takes to the stage and begins to sing a song.
"Waiting outside the castle walls, beyond the great blue skies, through the forest wrapped in mist, past the crimson lands, to the ends of the sea." The lyrics seem so familiar where have I heard them? They resonate with me for some reason. "Across the scared lands, over the highest peak, towards the ridge of light and through the long sealed gates."
"Sway the crescent moon, as the stars dance upon the distant sky." I suddenly began to sang. The lyrics, they're inside me.
"Oh, do you remember this song?" Leon asked. "It was your song after all."
"As the sun shines above, shake the hardened world." I sang as I stood up. "Gather the four jewels in your hand."
"Go on." I hear a voice whisper in my ear.
"When the voice of the wind calls, the calm waters are disturbed, the crimson flames burns away the darkness and the earth connects the unbreaking bond." I continued. "Gather the pieces of the puzzle, when all has been gathered, head to the place where your heart is."
"The last is all that's left." The voice whispered.
"On the stage of Fatum, guide the pieces into place, on the stage that is before you, Initium is Finis, Finis is Intium." I sang and suddenly tears began to drip down my cheek. "Wither or Bloom, the fate is left to the last."
"Arata, you okay?" Alexis asked and I nodded.
Suddenly I felt something calling me. What is it? A voice as if telling me where to go.
"Now isn't the right time just yet, but, on the stage of Fatum, we will meet." It said. "Till then..."
"Le Fleur." I said. "This song! It's called Le Fleur!"
"Le Fleur?" Lia asked. "You said it was your secret song?"
"It's the Flower, the key to end of the war with the Chimeras!" I exclaimed.
"What part of it is the key?" Lucas asked.
"All of it is." I told him. "The lyrics are the things that will guide us to where the end is."
"Elder." Mitan turned to Grandpa who had stopped drinking and was paying attention to what I was saying.
"Argent, do you know where it is?" Grandpa asked and I nodded.
"It's there, it waits for me, at the Stage of Fatum." I told him. "On that stage... Initium is Finis, Finis is Initium, those two await."
"Initium and Finis?" Reinhardt repeated. "The beginning is the end and the end is the beginning?"
"That's right. At the place where everything began, everything will end." I answered him. "The beginning is the end and the end is the beginning."
"Do you know where that place is?" Alistar asked and I nodded.
"But, before we can go there, the puzzle pieces have to be gathered." I told him.
"Puzzle pieces?" Liam asked.
"They're scattered somewhere in each world. This song is the key. In order to find the pieces... we have to visit each world." I told them.
"Very well." Grandpa said. "Go and get some rest since it's late. We'll talk about this in the morning."
"Okay then." I answered.
