ENIOLA
To say she was drunk would be an understatement. She had had one, three, eight... Well she had lost count after the tenth shot. It was her best friend's birthday. And she could not resist accepting the different alcohol shots passed to her. She was not dubbed 'Party Enny' for nothing. She had a name to live up to.
"Yo, Enny! You're wasted you've got to get home somehow." Her ex course-mate, Johnny that had showed up at the party said as he took the hundredth shot of tequila from her and poured it on the bushes.
"I don't need to get home!" She yelled. "I'm home already! Here is home!!" She yelled loudly over the music that blared from the mansion.
"You do need to get home. I'll tell Francine you're going home and have her call an uber. It's a working day tomorrow for God's sake!" He almost rolled his eyes at his last statement as he dragged her into the house by her elbow. Everybody knew Eniola Gillian, she couldn't work to save her life. Not that she needed to. It was no surprise she threw such a large party for her friend.
"Would you go home with me then?" She suddenly yelled and Johnny's cheeks would have shone bright pink if he wasn't so dark. He was saved from answering the question by Francine who sported a beautiful dress- that Enny had gotten for her.
"Enny! What did you do to your self? I haven't been gone for more than an hour." Francine said in disbelief, shaking blonde hair in disapproval. She had always kicked against Enny's wild habits and Enny on the other hand could not help but to not give a fuck.
"I was not drinking i-i swearr." The alcohol lacing her voice became more obvious as she tried to deny it. She could hardly stand on her own without Johnny holding her up say less of talking.
"Of course. I'll have an uber take you home. The rooms here are all in use." Francine eyed her a bit before pulling out her new iPhone. One of her numerous gifts from Enny. "Let's take her outside."
"Francine I am seeriouss. I don't need to go homee." She tried to fight her way out of the uber that Francine and Johnny had literally bundled her into. "This is aabuse! Driver say something!" She screamed as they slammed the door shut and the driver locked it from the front.
"Here have water, it would help." The middle aged man handed her a bottle of water which she eyed suspiciously before cracking the cap open and gulping greedily.
She eventually calmed down and relaxed to watch the buildings passing by. His house was farther away from the party than her but she wanted to be there instead. After he had left, she realised he put the house in her name but she was unable to claim it until three years ago. She felt it welcomed her more than her own home.
She thanked the uber driver and gave him a rather large tip in cash after she swiped her card and stumbled into the empty house. She was immediately welcomed by the cold air from the air-conditioning unit that he never agreed to turn off. She had taken after him in so many things. She used to run to his house when she fought with her dad and camp in his room until he came from work and she scared the shit out of him. He got used to it eventually.
She strolled into the kitchen for some aspirin and the same wave of nostalgia hit her again. He would always keep his MacBook on the kitchen island and try to work, cook and help her with her school work at the same time. She did notice him work into the late hours of the night because of work he had been unable to finish as he was taking care of her needs. It was like he was there and the next minute, vanished. Her legs gave away and she landed harshly on the marble floor. She missed him badly.
She missed his little Spanish nicknames and phrases he never told her the meaning of. She missed how he knew everything about her even more than she did. She missed having someone that loved her and protected her. She missed how he kept the littlest meaningless gifts she gave to him. She missed him so much it made her eyes burn with tears. She felt betrayed. You said you would comeback, Salvador. You promised.

TOBIAS
"Mr Tobias, she was spotted again." His personal assistant said smugly. She couldn't understand her bosses obsession with the little minx.
"Where?"
"At a party. Drunk and stumbling with a group of friends." She replied watching her boss twirl the touch pen between his fingers. She took a moment to admire his military like features, his bleached white low cut hair and steel grey eyes that sharpened every feature on his impossibly smooth face.
"When?"
"Early this morning." She answered immediately.
"Be specific, Clara."
"At 1:33 sir. The media people sent in the pictures at that time before putting it on the news." She gulped knowing her boss was getting upset.
"Get them another headline, get my niñita off that front page."
"Yes, sir. Of course." She said turning on her heel.
He almost broke his pen in half but had enough restraint not to do so. It was a gift from his partner in Qatar. It would be rude and well... It was a really nice pen.
He hesitantly put the news channel and groaned in frustration as he read the headline:
'Billionaire mogul spotted drunk and being thrown into an uber in the early hours of the morning.'
He was a bit relieved she was not drunk driving again. He wondered how long she would be able to keep up with it. Surely she didn't expect him to always protect her... Or did she?

ENIOLA
She woke up to her head pounding and her phone going off. She just rolled over to the the other side and grabbed whatever felt like a phone.
"Enny here, what's up?" She said sleepily shielding her eyes from the morning sun that was a bit too bright.
"What's up? Enny? What's up?!! ARE YOU MAD?!" Her screaming manager was enough to wipe the sleepiness from her eyes as she suddenly pushed herself off the bed. "The whole of America is talking about an alcoholic business tycoon and you're asking me what's up?!" He screeched and she had to pull the phone from her ear to avoid hearing the string of unholy words he spewed.
"Are you done, Anthony?" She said calmly after the man on the other line went silent.
"Yes, I a-"
"Have a good day, Anthony." She told him calmly then hung up. She didn't have the energy for that. She just wanted to stay indoors and think about Tobi for the entire day. She didn't want to think about her business that she had no desire to run but was convinced by Tobi that she needed to invest some of the money her father had left her with. She didn't want to think about Anthony are what he felt she should be doing. She would have fired the self-righteous prick a long time ago if the same Tobi had not convinced her to. She definitely did not want to think about what America had to say about her and her money and business.
As she soaked herself in her bathtub with cocobutter bath bombs, she scrolled through different pictures of she and Tobi. Pictures she had seen again and again over a million times. Her favourites always changed as she spotted something new every single time. She loved the particular pic they took on her prom day She noticed how his eyes were different shades of grey and green and blue in all the pictures as she settled that it was probably because of how the light met them. He was the most beautiful person she had ever seen. Looking at the pictures reignited the longing she had for him. And she thought of all the extreme things she had done hoping he would come to her rescue but he never did.
Over the years, she had done a lot of things, from joining an underground fight club to beating up a police officer and to drunk driving but he never came. He never showed up. She felt her eyes get wet again then threw her phone away from her and dunked her head in the water.

"Yeah, there's a party at the Onirux park." She overhead a blonde teenager tell his friend as she waited for her Starbucks coffee.
"Onirux? The park was closed down. The police could raid the place!" The other friend whispered quickly looking around to see if anyone was looking. She was glad she had shades on else he would have met with her eyes.
"I know! But we have to go! Deanna Green is hosting! We have to bro." The blonde yelled and corrected him self. "We have too." He whispered.
"I'm not sure, aren't her parties for 21 year olds and older?"
"We'll sneak in then!" He suggested.
"I'm not sure bro." The friend replied as he took the last gulp of his coffee.
Enny was torn from her eaves dropping as her phone started ringing. It was the custom iPhone ringtone and nobody paid any mind to it. She stared at the cracked screen for a moment and hit the answer button.
"Hello, Enny?" The speaker said and she just mumbled a hi, thanking the waiter that had delivered her drink. "It's Deanna?"
"Oh, hi Deanna. I smashed my phone screen and couldn't see the caller ID, what's up?" She already knew Deanna wanted to invite her to the party and ask for financial support too, they all did.
"Hey, I wanted to personally invite you to my birthday party at Onirux tonight. I'm sorry it's coming late but I was a bit busy." She said a bit too politely to Enny.
"It's fine I would be there. Time?"
"From 8 is fine and Enny?"
She could smell it coming.
"Can you lend me a bit of money? I'm a bit short I'll pay back, it's just for the drinks." She said in a rush and Enny rolled her eyes. As if she would actually every pay back.
"Bank transfer or Cash App?"
