After half a year passed since I first came here in Vanifi, the empress still hasn't found the Akashic records after knowing the location of the book.
To begin with, only a few people in the world would be able to get the book by passing through the labyrinth that I created.
And the few individuals who would be able to get the sacred book would be Penelope, John and the great magician since the labyrinth changes its structure, magically but without the use of magic, every ten minutes.
The great magician and Penelope both have overwhelming destructive prowess on their respective fields which would make them destroy all ten floors of the labyrinth to get to the bottom to retrieve the Akashic record before the labyrinth even restore to its former structure.
And there's John. With his abnormal level of spatial awareness, it would be easy for him to navigate through the labyrinth since his sense of direction is by far the best in the story.
The only problem is that it would take him at least a few weeks to do so. Since someone strong has to guard the empress and me, both Sir Aiden and John can't go anywhere else for that long.
Not to mention, it is not like there would be anyone other than prince Diego who can protect me as good as John can.
And I can't send either Phoenix or Almas to go since I need them at all times. Meanwhile, Xavier would be the worst one since his sense of direction is extremely bad to the point that he can't even read a decent beginner's map properly.
"It seems like something is bothering you, my lady"

"Why were you sneaking in when you could have used the door?"

The next morning, I was notified by the head butler that the Theano family have already left before the sun rose due to unforeseen problems in their territory which is why they didn't had the time to wake me up and converse with me first about it.
"Well, since they left so hurriedly, it must be something important"
"Something important, as if! You already know what it is about, my lady"
"Is it just me or does you manner of speech keeps on getting sharper by the day"

Although he is still calling me 'my lady' he basically became a thug with that kind of speech. Valerie would be enrage if she knew about this.
After several more days that passed, it wasn't just his speech that change, his body gestures, facial expressions and even his habits change. As if he became an entirely different person.

Confused, Xavier paid no mind to what I said and went back to resting on top of my lap as I gently caress his body.

He jump away but stop before midway to the window. He then remembered his 'promise' with his big sister that he must do what I say. NO. MATTER. WHAT.
Slower than earlier, he came back to my lap as I hold back my inner self from laughing out loud.

He nodded as he cried for he already knew that the consequences for his actions were now being delivered onto him.
