The prisoners who were watching and listening on our negotiation started to scream curses at me.
"Why the fuck would we do that?!"

The black cat that was resting on my shoulder took a step forward and change into a lion.
'There are lions in Loate?!'
"Roooaar!"
The black lion with glowing red eyes instilled fear onto the prisoners with its deafening roar.
"If you don't want to I can just kill all of you. For that is the price you have to pay for trying to hurt my subjects"
"Fine. I will do as you say"
The lion turned into a bat and flew away which caught the other's attention.
I wrote down the contract which he signed.
Just a moment after that, Xavier came down with a vampire.
"My lady, you have called for me?"
"Yes, Cecil. Please use your power to give life to this contract"
"For you, I shall do so"
Cecil's ability
Her hands glowed as she took the paper.
Snip, snap whoosh.
The paper was set ablaze and instantaneously turned into ashes.
The glow separated from her hands, forming a little wisp-like appearance and flew to me and King.
"With that, I am now done my lady"
"Thank you very much Cecil"
The vampire went back up while King Maxwell was wondering what just happened.
"What did you do my lady?"
"You singed the contract, right? Now, just as what was written in the contract you are now my personal 'hunting dog'. No hard feelings, okay"
"You, do you really think-"
Bam.
Before finishing what he was about to say, Samuel hit his neck so hard the he passed out. He then tosses his body inside the prison.
The prisoners took his body gently and move him somewhere comfortable whilst glaring at me.
The contract is as follow:
1.) The guild master shall be the 'slave' of Baroness Emond.
2.) The guild master shall be held accountable if any of his underlings were to commit illegal activities.
3.) Baroness Emond will have the right to control the emotion of the guild master.
4.) The guild master must always do his best to protect other people.
5.) The guild master will do anything what the baroness said.
6.) The guild master is not allowed to commit suicide.

With Cecil's ability to give life to inanimate object, the contract became a something that will be a shackle to him for the rest of his life.
He must have thought that it was impossible for all this to happen because of the letter that was sent to him.
"Jay Maxwell, are you wondering why your brother fell to my trap?"

"It was because of you. Copying your penmanship and decoding your hidden message was easy"
Realizing his mistake for trusting me, the one who manipulated the contents of the letter he became enraged and started to curse at me with all his might.
We went back up and left them all alone.

After going back up, a pile of unconscious men was placed in front of the station.
"Milady, as you suspected, there were suspicious men lurking around"
"Thank you for the hard work, John. The knights here in the station will take care of it"
The vampires then dragged them one by one inside so that they can put them at the underground prison later on.
There was no way that King Maxwell would come here all alone after all.
John left to go back to his patrol while I dragged Xavier and Samuel to my room.
"I supposed I have a lot of things to explain huh"
The two sat down while not paying mind to each other.
"Samuel, this is Xavier a vampire. Xavier, this is Samuel, the one who will become the temporary lord of this place while I am away"
The two stared at each other and looked back at me again as they tilted their head.
What is up with their reaction?
"Vampires, huh"
"You're not surprised?"
"Not at all, my lady. After seeing him transform and the woman from earlier I thought they were the rumored vampires from the east of Loate, where you have gone to recently"
"You don't mind if they are here?"
"Not at all. It was your decision, and I trust your decision. Therefore, there won't be any problem for me"
"What about you, Xavier?"
"The same goes for me as well. If you decided to let him know about our existence, that means that you trust him that he won't betray us"
Well, this is going smoother than I thought it would be.
After the party and all other problem was resolved, Averie received a message from Valerie which is meant for me.

For my other reason for writing you a letter would be to inform you about the monsters that will come out at the gates of hell.
About a third or a fourth of the monsters that will come out of that shitty gate are: Imps, gargoyles and hell hounds.
Though they sound intimidating, they are not.
Imps are basically toddler-size demon that has the same characteristics as a toddler. They can't harm you, but they are very annoying. Gargoyles on the other hand are statues in the day, but they can move in the night. They can mostly steal but can't hurt people. Lastly, the hell hounds. They have the same size as a lion but despite the scary sounding name, they are cowards who are all bark and not bite.
This is their characteristics if it is the same as in the novel.
As to how I knew about this, it would be because I once met another woman who was also involve in the making of the story who happens to be the head of mafia in America.
As you know, Jessica's favorite genre is medieval theme romance and second is gore with horror. Because of that, they created the 'suppose' story of
Because of what I've heard from them, I told them that it would be better to mix in bottom feeders among the monsters that will come out of the gates of hell when the two were talking.
And I am honestly glad I step up at that time.
Other than that, I have no other knowledge regarding the monsters that will come out at the gates of hell since it was the 'mafia head' who created the monsters.
