Upon entering a vacant guest room, John immediately threw the prince on the sofa then lie down on the bed.
"Are you sure this is how knights should act?"
"The empress said that I can do anything I want. Besides, it was Diego's fault that he was too careless and got poisoned. And... if you want you can also lie down here"
To think that these two are close enough for John to call him by name, there sure are a lot of things I don't know despite being a contributor to the story.
I took a water jar and poured the water on the plants.
"John"
"Yes, my lady?"
"I need you to take-a-leak here and put it inside this jar"
"Eh? What do you need it for my lady? Do you know that is very unladylike?"
"Well, there is no way I am using my urine to wake that idiot though"
After taking a rest I was able to think more properly and remember things from my previous life clearer now that I am not stress anymore.
As a side character there were times that prince Diego was narrated as a cold and pure type, but he never was poisoned through out the whole story.
The story showed how healthy he was and that he never once change from a quiet kid to a quiet adult.
And there is no way that no one wouldn't saw his violent nature that was brought forth by the Daitikos. Is it a ripple effect? Or someone, just like me, who knew about the novel?
Thinking about it, it is virtually impossible, but the fact that I am here means that anyone can be here, inside the world of a novel.
While I was busy pondering about the sudden change of personality of the first prince, John finish urinating into the water jar from behind the curtains.
"Thanks!"
I then sprinkled some powder inside and sealed. I proceeded to shaking the water bottle gently to mix the urine and the powder.
"What kind of wicked concoction are you making my lady?"
"To say that it is 'wicked' is a bit too much don't you think?"
"I think that you collecting my piss is too much"
"It is needed so don't complain"
After a few minutes of shaking, I removed the lid and put the hole near prince Diego's nose.
In no time at all, he woke up.
"Ack...! Who... are you? Where... am.... I...?"
"Now that he is awake, I will get going as I still have things to do. If he falls asleep again make sure to make him take a whiff of this wicked concoction you speak of"
"You want me to make the prince smell that?"
"Yeah. Do you have any problem with that? If you say yes, then I don't want to hear it from the one who toss the prince body to the other side of the room like you, you know"
"My lady better cook some good food later for this"
"Of course. I will make some buttered chicken for dinner, so make sure that he attends the ceremony later by making him smell that"
He became motivated and crack a smile upon hearing his favorite food, the 'buttered chicken'.
Ever since I found out about John's favorite food, it became a trigger word for me to use whenever I have something important I have to ask of him. It also became a word that stop him from indiscriminately killing others.

With the imperial sword on my waist, the knights that would giggle along with me and tell me some story as they were being checked up on would stop and salute at me. It showed the power, the authority the sword it gives to user.
Though they don't even know why I have it and that the fact an outsider is brazenly walking along the imperial palace grounds with the imperial sword by the waist, they paid no mind.
Whether it was trust towards me or their trust towards the empress, they only saluted at me and were treating me like a high ranking noble from the Vanifi empire.
"My lady! The things you take here in the imperial laboratory are very rare plants! Please, give me a good reason why should we give them to you?"
Said by one of the leading scholars who is well verse on the medicinal field. He wasn't a doctor but rather someone who just specialize on medicine and botany.
But, I can't tell them that prince Diego is poisoned though.
"It doesn't matter what you think of my actions, I am simply doing what her majesty told me. And it is to create a medicine as soon as possible. Defying me is the same thing as to defy her majesty. As proof of that...."
I removed the blade from my waist and unsheathed the sword, showing them the imperial sword.
"Her majesty went as far as to give this to me. Do you now know the weight of my words, baron?"
A noble of this land being criticized and lectured by an outsider, a war prisoner under the guise of being an honored guest, a fourteen year old girl no less. All of this must have a big impact to his pride as a noble of the Vanifi empire.
I proceeded to do what I have to do, ignoring them.
While they stand still from their places, the muttered as the glared at me. It showed just how much they despised me for trampling on a nobles' pride.

After getting the things I needed in the laboratory I went back to the room where the two men were.
After entering, the two were awake, it looked like they finish taking a bath, and are now bickering at each other.
Other than the chaos they are stirring, the scent of roses from the soap or shampoo was very calming.
"Lade Emond, I have so many things to say but please step aside as I beat up this man"
"My lady! This man is the same as ever! Please close your eyes as I teach so sense into him!"
"I don't really think I can take your words seriously. Seeing you two full naked as you swing your 'swords' around while fighting is... hmm... comedic, I suppose"
