After arriving the empress was sitting nonchalantly on her chair while the second prince's clothes were covered with blood.
The auction was still continuing as the nobles inside were unaware of what was happening outside. By the request of the empress the count hosted the auction in a place with soundproofed walls.
I am curious as to why they aren't wondering about the tremor that the explosion created but it is probably because of the empress.
"Your majesty, I believe that you promise me that there won't be any bloodshed?"
"Yes, I did. But my stupid brother charge straight and inflicted some major wounds on the infiltrators"
"I expect some compensation"
"You want money?"
"No. Allow me to treat them myself"

Before going to the prison I took the ceremonial dagger with me that the empress got for me.
One of the knights of the Olbrecht county led me to their underground prison.
Thanks to the information I gave the empress, some imperial knights were placed secretly on some places where the intruders will go to, which made it easy to apprehend them.
"Lady Emond, all the intruders has been caught. And by the orders of the count, we will be leaving the interrogation to you"
"You guys can go back up now and make sure that no one would be able to come inside. Also, please send someone who can give me a lot of clean cloth"

"I am sure that the captain of the imperial knights is good enough to protect me. No?"
The knight bit his lip and reluctantly went out with the other knights who also felt the same way. Maybe it was their pride being hurt or the fact that they might be reprimanded later on or worse by the empress herself.
But they all knew that they still have a task to secure the place as knights.
The prisoners looked at me with hatred, thinking that I am someone who would do something cruel to them to extract information out of them.
"I am the honored guest of the empress from the kingdom of Loate, Dianna Emond, daughter of the duke of Emond. I will be the one responsible for interrogating you all"
After taking the medical box I opened the door where the wounded were gathered.
Me and Sir Aiden went in.
"Those who wants to get treated please lie down in front of me"
"You said that you were going to interrogate us, right? So why treat us?"
"It is inhumane to leave you all in this condition, whether you are planning on killing someone or not. Of course, unless you guys want a painful death I won't mind ignoring you all"

As one of them stood up and got in front of me, they wore a dreaded expression. Some were even disgusted.
It was the youngest among them who decided to get treated first. He had several minor wounds all over and one major wound.
"Drink this"
Without asking about what the water was made up the youngest one drank it with no hesitation whatsoever.
"Bite this, I can't be sure about the effects of what you just drank but it should be able to make the pain more bearable"
He obediently bit the handkerchief I have.
After drinking the pain reliever I immediately started the operation.
After removing the cloth that was pressing down against the wound to prevent blood loss, I cleaned it, disinfect it and finally close the wound as fast as possible.
I tended to the minor wounds right after.
Everyone was frozen in place as they watched closely as I operated the young man that only the heavy breathing and the clanking sound of the medicals tools can be heard in the underground prison.
A servant came down to the underground prison and quickly left after placing the dozens of clean cloth I requested from the knight.
After the operation, the young man was knocked out due to the fatigue that build up and was brought to another cell by Sir Aiden.
A man stood up.
"You wench! Do you seriously think that without your knight-"
Taking the chance that the only knight, that Sir Aiden was in a different cell and that the open door was being blocked by a young girl one of the injured men charge towards me.
In a flash, the man that was charging straight to me fell down.
His neck was stabbed and died moments after.
"You guys are idiots. Did you seriously think I am not capable of protecting myself?"
After wiping the blood from my face, I went back to my place and sat down.
"So, are there any of you who is willing to get treated?"
I said with a smile as they shiver from the shadow.

One and a half hour later I finished treating and interrogating the intruders and decided to go back to the auction hall with Sir Aiden who is currently carrying the young man that I treated first.
"What shall I do with him, my lady?"
"Please make someone to take him back to the emerald palace. I would prefer if it is someone who is able to treat him well"
"I understand"
I went inside the room and saw the empress and the second prince chatting and some noble.
"How insolent of you to enter without any introduction"
Ah, right now, I am wearing commoner clothes since there were idiots who tried to escape so their blood stained my dress. He must have thought that I am a servant or something.
Ignoring the man, I went to my chair and sat down.
"Please bring some herbal tea"
The maid beside John bowed and went out to do as I say.
The noble man was fuming with anger but was also confused as to why a maid that the empress brought from the imperial palace obey the words other than the empress.
