northern winds blew across the valley,
making the long grass dance.
cows walked along the big open ground, chased by a small husky. as he barked leading them to a open fence a young man sat upon a steed, galloping behind the herd yelling. his short brown hair bounced in the wind, his sharp green eyes that could brake ones soul was set on one goal. getting this herd settled into the new pen, he has ridden for days without a wink of sleep. insuring the herds safety.
the husky jumped over the wooden fence howling as the herd thundered into the gates.
once the herd was in, the young man jumped down shutting the gates before calling out to the husky. " here boy, here max." he bellowed, waving is hand in the air.
Max's bounced around running towards him, before running around in circles around his human.
the young man smiled and patted his head.
"kero!" a voice called out.
the young man looked up seeing the farm owner walking over. "good job kero, wonderful work. the herd looks good and, you got here fast. it should have token you at least a week. yet you made it in 3 days."
the young man kero, smiled and nodded. "no problem sir, am more then happy. am glad you hired me, I needed this job badly.
is there any work left for me to do?" he asked the owner. the owner who was an older man stopped and pondered before, replying. "no, the rest of the farm hands have finished everything for the day, you should rest for the rest of the day. ill pay you by the end of the week." the old man replied. kero smiled and walked away whistling for his companion to follow.
