Rachael's POV
"DAADD!!!!!!!"
I screamed with all the strength I had. I ran toward him and threw myself on him.
"Oh my baby girl.I missed you so much!"
I came down from his body and made a pout.
"I'M NOT A BABY!!"
He chuckled a bit and ran his hand through my hair.
"You'll always be my baby".
Cliche and soooo annoying
"I hate to be the show spoiler here but..hey Dad. Remember me? I'm Carl, your first son?"
I rolled my eyes and dad smiled widely.
"Come on boy"
He opened his arms wide and embraced Carl into the tightest hug I had ever seen.
Well..aside the hug Maggie gave Pete back in school..I felt so bad for the poor kid.
I rolled my eyes.
"Ha-ha Carl, really funny..have you ever thought of venturing into comedy?"
I deadpanned.
He glared at me and smirked.
"If you're done spilling shit, can u get your trash..sorry bags from my trunk?!"
Dad broke into a smile before noticing the fire in my eyes.I glared at both of them.
"Not fair dad.. you're taking his side just cos I'm the only girl!"
I wish mom was here.
"Come on Rach..get your things out and come into the Cafe.We have been waiting for you guys. Cami even came back yesterday".
I smiled widely.. before skipping to Carl's car.I was home!

Many people saw home as a house with a kitchen, sitting room, bedrooms and probably a lawn in front, neighbors and all the rest. Well..my home was a little different.
I lived in a Café.
My dad's Café.
Dad was really proud of his Cafe.He got it from his dad, who got it from his dad, who got it from his dad,who got it from his dad...well...you get the point.
It was located at the most remote part of a small road-side town, far away from civilization.
The town of South Jivenson.
A majestic mountain which for some reason was called,'Rasha' stood proudly behind the cafe.
It was surrounded by beautiful trees, bushes and flowers.
The café was located in the heart of the forest.
The amazing River Rasha flowed in front of the Cafe, sending calm chills down the spine of anyone who beheld it.
The trees that grew around the café were wonders of God's perfection! In autumn, the leaves gave the café a beautiful golden yellow hue and in Spring,oh my gosh, the trees bloomed in the most beautiful shade of green you would ever see.
It was a two story building, built more like a mini hotel than a cafe. The ground floor consisted of the kitchens, store room and the main cafe where food and drinks were served to customers who were mainly travellers, as South Jivenson was a typical 'traveller-stop-by' town.
The first floor was where the hostels were located.
Mosttravellers liked to spend a night or two and the hostels pretty much came in handy.
The hostels were 5 large rooms containing 6 beds each. The rooms were spacious, with fans, lights, wardrobes and a good bathroom.Any average person would be very comfortable.
The last floor was where the staff stayed. It was also where I lived with dad,Carl and Mom(of blessed memory).
I was born there, homeschooled through my middle school and had to go to Jivenson Metropolis High school and board with Carl when I got into High school.
There was a small chapel mom built close to the river,a library on the first floor, and a small clinic on the last.
This was the most beautiful place in the world for me, it had so many memories for me both good and bad.
Little did I know that this summer, things were going to change...a lot of things!
