People had less nightmares after Getsumei had taken care of the rogue yume no seirei but the problem with the dreaming was still prevalent. A knock on the door of the place he was temporarily staying distracted him from his thoughts, he looked up to see Handa with a bunch of servants behind him carrying his evening meal.
'Good evening my lord' Handa bowed and clapped his hands. The servants then busied themselves to set up the table.
Getsumei not feeling particularly hungry dismissed then and gave his chaos a look, 'I am not hungry,' removing his eyes from the leaving servants he massaged a sore spot on his shoulder, 'though I need energy.'
Handa gave him a knowing and left only to return with a rogue yume no seirei, there was a lot of them lately. The skinny old creature was forced to its knees before him and he placed his almost cold palms on it, black tendrils twisted around its body. It tried to scream but it's scream died in it's throat as it's body turned into ash. Getsumei's complexion brighten as he wiped his hands on a cloth which was discarded by Handa later.
'Has everyone gone to sleep?' Getsumei asked as he laid on his blankets.
'Most my lord, lady Kaoru is asleep too, would you like to visit her?' Hand asked to see his lord's complexion brighten even more. Lately everyone knew the lord had a soft spot for this young lady except the lord himself, he worries gossip will spread to the ears of his wife to be and cause some serious problems for him.
Getsumei furrowed his brows thoughtfully, 'that's not necessary, but see that her dreaming is not tampered with.
Find me a new sleeve similar to the one I'm wearing, fast. This one is long spent.'
'Yes my lord,' Handa bowed and backed out of the room. Getsumei laid back with his eyes closed, he seemed to fall into a deep sleep and in his dreams materialized a beautiful fragile looking maiden with golden hair longer than his own.
She gave him a lazy smile and extended her arm which he took, 'consort brother is here at last.'
The following morning lord Getsumei's territory mourned the loss of their young lord who passed away in his sleep.
.
It was time to leave, Susumu thought as he watched Kana preside over things in the temple. For a sleeve it was lasting longer than expected, however it was still a sleeve and it had begun to show signs of tear, she was going to have to change it sooner.
There wasn't much to pack, he still had to deal with that Gozu Tenño but it was almost impossible to find a pest gone into hiding. Well, there were more pressing matters.
'My lord, will you be coming back?' Kana walked him out of the temple.
'Your services has been greatly appreciated, you will be retiring from it soon enough,' he ignored the question.
'Thank you my lord' she gave him a bow and he turned his back to her. A single step and he was out of Hirubira, his facial features became more defined, his red hair longer and his gait more majestic. His fury was emitted in abundance and the seas churned and thrashed in response to it, that night many ships were lost at sea.
However, the very one he troubled the oceans for was chuckling in his tiny boat amidst the troubled waters. Gozu Tenño didn't think it'd be this easy to provoke him to anger, his siblings had told him so but he found it hard to believe him. This made things easier, he thought. Father will have to come out to take care of his little brat.
On a small island a certain nondescript young man in gold hoop earrings wore a small smile as he looked to the sea, it was raining cats and dogs with thunder and lightning painting the sky. This sudden change of weather had delayed the trade ship that was to arrive this evening and he was still smiling, why? The storm had brought something to him, something very important.
