Sonic actually came to this chilli dog stand! I was so surprised and decided to wave at him. He waved back, but saw from my face that I wasn't feeling well.
"What's wrong, Ames? Something happened?" He said to me.
"Oh, uh, nothing really. Just thinking about stuff, that's all." I said to him. He smiled and decided to not go to the stand to buy himself a chilli dog. Instead he sat beside me, patting me.
"Did you have a bad experience or something? I can tell you're not feeling well." He said it in a calm voice. I blushed as he patted me.
"Well, you can say that." I said it in a sad, almost crying voice.
"You can tell me what's wrong?" He said. "But only if you want to."
I was hesitant, really hesitant. I didn't wanna hurt him, but I didn't really wanna tell him why I feel bad. I was thinking he might say I haven't changed at all. And I didn't want him to think that.
"I'm sorry, but I don't really wanna talk about it" I finally said it.
"Alright, it's fine. Can I do something or get you something that might comfort you?" He said it to me.
"Well, I'm kinda hungry right now." And it was true. My tummy was rumbling at the moment. He was so kind, so he ordered two chilli dogs, one for himself and one for me.
We were talking a lot actually. Before we knew it, it was already getting late. Sonic didn't have a place to stay at because Tails was working on some stuff, and the noise was unbearable apparently. So I let him stay at my place. It was a long walk home, that's for sure, but for Sonic it was nothing. We didn't hurry, we took our time.
Once we got to my home, he didn't wanna bother me, and he chose to sleep on my couch. I didn't want him to sleep on that uncomfy thing, so I told him that he can sleep next to me. I saw the blush on his face, but he thanked me. He got to see my bedroom, and he was surprised how different it was than before. My room's color was blue instead of pink, and there were no pics of Sonic at all. That's because I didn't wanna keep trying and just change finally. At that night I had a hard time sleeping, but I managed to fall asleep at least.
