First fishing out the broken shards and throwing them away to avoid accidents, she then took the flower and instead of throwing it away she decided to find another vessel for it next, that was her grandmother's favorite flower so there was no way she would toss it away. 'if something wasn't completely bad it would be a waste to throw it out' her grandmother would always say. Guess it really would be a sin to not give a second chance to something that had lost a part of itself but not itself in entirety.
She kept the flower then next she returned to sweep up the sand.
As she swept a small piece of paper suddenly came to sight, she moved to toss it into the waste bin but then stopped. It was weird that a paper was present in a vase that her grandmother specifically tended to unfailingly. She dropped the things in her hand then sat on the stairs and gently unfolded the paper.
