During the lunch break, Alice asked Janet about her plans, but she turned down Alice's offer. However, when Janet learned that Rudy was coming too, she agreed.
Alice informed Rudy that Janet doesn't have plans for the weekends and she would join us, and then told him to ask Eric later today.
The school hours eventually ended and everyone went where they were supposed to be.
While leaving the school campus, Rudy was asked by the soccer team if he was interested in joining for a match but Rudy turned them down after he heard their thoughts. They were only inviting him because Eric wasn't there and they needed someone to play in his stead.
Rudy didn't like to replace or be replaced, but he couldn't help but wonder if he had replaced the Rudy of this world with himself or what he had were only the memories of the future of a seemingly different world.
