July sat on his bed while staring at his empty phone screen, thinking of a way to reach Rain. While he thought deeply about it, the memory of how he got his face injured replayed in his mind as if was the very reason why he won't even be able to come and see Rain in person.
"Dad, I'm infertile."
The moment July said those words to his father, he was ready to take what was gonna come to him.
He lowered his head and expected something to come flying his way, but even after a couple of seconds, nothing hit him.
He raised his head and looked at his father who was now massaging his temples, stressed out about what his son just said.
"July, this is not something you can just joke about," his father said in a stern voice with a hint of warning. "I am not in any way joking about this, Dad," July responded with a serious expression on his face.
