Yuri felt a tickling sensation in his stomach as he walked with Theodore, his hand still on his waist.
'What was that? That looked like something from the drama my granny used to watch,' Yuri thought as he felt his face heat up.
"I'm sorry you had to hear something like that. I hope that didn't ruin your night," Theodore said to Yuri as they walked. "No, it's..." Yuri stopped in the middle of his sentence, wondering if he should say that it was fine and that it didn't bother him at all.
He was humiliated and hurt.
It wasn't like he wasn't expecting something like that to happen, but experiencing it in real life changes everything. It was a lot more humiliating and hurtful as compared to what he had imagined.
Even though he wanted to tell him the truth, he had to keep in mind that it was Theodore's birthday and that he shouldn't be worrying about such a thing during his special day.
"It's fine. That didn't bother me one bit," Yuri smiled at him to reassure him.
