The earliest memory Rain had of his father was of him watching his father throw a glass ashtray on the wall. He was trembling in fear, scared that he might be the next one breaking.
He was five at the time, and that was when his mother had just left his father for another man.
He grew up hating his mother for leaving him, but with age, he realized why she left.
Although it was true that his father lacked nothing, his father wasn't capable of showing affection. He, himself, had never experienced any type of affection from his father.
All he ever received from his father was martial arts training and a gun.
For a kid who had just turned 16, shooting was a pretty weird hobby for everybody else besides him.
But even though most people distance themselves from Rain, he thought he understood why they were doing that. In his head, he thought it was only right that he has very few friends.
