Iris burst into the dust. She saw glowing red eyes and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Tommy, thank goodness you're fine ..."
BRAK!
"Ah!"
Iris almost got hit by the mother monster's tail. Luckily, she nimbly took out a magic root and blocked it.
"You are okay?" Thomas suddenly pulled Iris, they retreated with the black shadow.
"I'm fine… yes I'm fine," said Iris as she turned her head and saw that Thomas wasn't hurt at all. She breathed a sigh of relief a second time.
Thomas nodded, the silver sword in his hand stained with sticky green slime, Iris guessed it must belong to the Mother monster.
The flying dust began to thin, revealing the snake's wide gaping mouth split open by the silver sword, its body slowly turning black.
"Is it over?" Iris muttered in disbelief, she narrowed her eyes. "It can't be this fast, can it?"
