"Stop! Stop!" Noah backed away again and stumbled against the brick wall of a house, realizing that if Morgan had swung his forelegs even a little, he would have been crushed like his comrades.
"Let me live! Let myself live! I will tell you all the information regarding the Red Moon pack!" Noah screamed desperately, he closed his eyes in fear.
Morgan paused for a moment, the burning escaping from his body wafting around him, Noah felt sweat pouring down his body.
"I'll tell you anything you want to know, especially about the weakness of the Red Moon pack!"
Noah raised his hand, intending to protect himself from Morgan, afraid that the big wolf would open its mouth and tear his body, but then he saw Morgan's human form suddenly strangling his neck.
"Ah!" Noah slams into the wall again, he grabs Morgan's hand and tries to let it go. "Ah, let me go! I'll tell you anything you want to know!"
Noah felt his life was really on the brink, he saw all his comrades who died without a single limb intact behind Morgan's body. The pooled blood looked like hell to him.
This place was not only a place of slaughter for Blue Moon's pack but also a place of slaughter for his comrades.
Morgan looked at Noah with his cold eyes, he tightened his grip.
"Please," Noah said in a hoarse voice. He could barely breathe and his face was starting to turn red from lack of oxygen.
Morgan didn't show his complacent attitude at all, he pulled the corners of his lips up and suddenly let go of his hand, but in a swift motion, his foot was already on Noah's chest.
"I have one question."
When Morgan finally spoke, the look in his eyes softened and he smiled, but to Noah, it was like seeing an angel waiting in front of him.
"What … what do you want to ask? I will answer honestly." The dark-skinned man was shaking violently, he swallowed his saliva many times.
Morgan narrowed his eyes, he nodded his head as if he understood what he wanted to ask, Morgan, bent his body, he put his hand on Noah's chest.
"How much," Morgan said in a muffled voice.
Noah's brain was forced to think fast, he immediately guessed and thought if the question Morgan meant was how many people were in the Red Moon Pack.
"Our number is half more than times … ukh!"
Morgan pressed his hand, Noah felt an intense burning in there, he groaned for a moment and wondered, was this big wolf annoyed because his answer was unsatisfactory or because the answer he gave was wrong?
Noah was shaking violently with fear, those cold eyes flashing again, filled with a look of madness.
"I ask, how many lives do you have to dare to kill my beloved Luna?"
"W… what?!" Noah gasped, his chest was burning hot, he screamed, feeling how his chest felt like it was being forced open by the melting coals that gnawed at all his internal organs, he screamed for the last time and died.
Morgan raised his hand, he stood up and took a breath.
His pack had been destroyed, the people he recognized were gone. Even Luke, the person he hated the most, was gone. No one was with him, including Giselle.
Morgan couldn't save her.
Morgan stepped slowly towards Giselle's body which was lying stiff on the ground, he came closer and hugged her tightly, wiping all the bloodstains from her lips and combing her hair with her fingers.
"I'm sorry," Morgan mumbled with tears flowing again that he couldn't hold back anymore, he poured all his pain there. "I'm sorry, Giselle."
He should be able to save her, he should still be able to hold her warm hand.
But he was too late, why was this power so hard for him to control?
Why couldn't he just save Giselle alone?
Morgan cried while hugging Giselle, kept muttering sorry over and over, even though he knew that no one would ever answer all those heart-wrenching cries.
"What should I do?"
Morgan looked up and saw the sky was starting to lighten, the sun's rays shone through the lush trees, the fires that burned the houses had long since been extinguished, and only smoke and blood had begun to dry on the ground.
Morgan looked at Giselle, he put his lips on Giselle's stiff lips and hugged her again, he took one last sip of Giselle's signature aroma and held her.
Morgan buried her, not only Giselle but the entire Blue Moon pack.
He put a lily on a stone he used as Giselle's headstone and touched it gently, Morgan didn't say anything, he was too sick to say goodbye to Giselle.
They haven't even had a wedding ceremony yet, and they haven't even really bonded yet
Morgan took a breath, if only they were tied, maybe Morgan would also feel the same pain that Giselle felt. Maybe he would also be lying in the same place as Giselle now.
But sadly, it was all just if.
Morgan lost his love, lost his pack, lost a teacher who taught him, and he even lost the house he once used to shelter from the hot sun and cold nights.
Morgan lost everything.
"I'm sorry that I can't continue with you, Giselle."
Morgan turned and hugged his own body, all the pain that was in his heart was getting more and more imprinted and forming a bigger wound, Morgan could not continue to bear it, he wanted to calm himself for a moment, away from all these bad memories. He wanted to wake up and think that all of this was a dream.
Morgan walked unsteadily, like a body without a soul, walking with empty eyes, hoping he would soon get out of all this madness.
Morgan continued to walk, across the grassy meadows, across the bushes, and across the rocky rocks, he had no more purpose in life, and he also had no desire to continue living.
He didn't care if at the end of the road there was a cliff, the sea or snow. Morgan doesn't care. Even if he will die because of the road he is heading down in front of him, Morgan is willing.
Morgan just wants to continue with Giselle, even to death, he is willing as long as he stays with Giselle in their second life.
Morgan loved Giselle very much.
"I'm sorry Giselle, I can't fool myself anymore, I want to follow you to the afterlife!"
Morgan stared at the deep abyss spread out in front of him. The one thing on his mind right now was
Dead.
