The old man stared at me for a while before bursting into laughter. Being around people who knew my innate ability had made me forget that there were those that didn't know how ridiculous it was. Granted, I knew for a fact that there were those that had weirder abilities, but the randomness of mine was what made most people either laugh or... gaze at me with concern.

I looked at Josh who was at my side and he merely shrugged.
Ho-jun finally stopped laughing after a while, which was a relief.
"That's quite the interesting ability young man. However, I do like its individuality. It certainly embodies who are and the sacrifices you made with but a single window of opportunity. Be proud of it," he said.
Having to explain my background made me uncomfortable, but the old man had insisted on that as well.
