I'm lying down, keeping Discipline active with all the strength which I have left. The few minutes of intense battle I just experienced still resound within my mind. It was tragic yet.... thrilling.
Unfortunately, I know that I'm done for. My heart is throbbing. I can barely breathe as I can feel that multiple pieces of bone are sticking within my lungs, my heart punctured as well.
The damage to my body is in different variations and I dare not try to feel it all.
As I look ahead, I see the looming figure of Daniel gazing at me.
I never would have thought that after declaring that I would help Amelia make this place a better sanctuary for humanity alongside Sanjay, it would all come crumbling in one night.
