Darius was born in Iran in a standard household. He lived with both his parents and two of his siblings; one who came after him and the other who came before. All of them being male.
Darius grew up with a strict mindset that was forced into him by his father. Money above all else. If he could have money, he would have defeated all of life's problems. That was the doctrine his father lived by and passed on to his children.
It was mainly due to his poor upbringing that forced on him the need to have money. He would encourage his children to pursue the same so that they wouldn't have to suffer as he did.
Thus, Darius was given an opportunity to have a good education, getting a broader view of the world.
Unlike his father, he developed a different view.
