Oliver stood by the entrance of the palace and persuaded Maximus to not go. But he's determined to leave. Even though Sargon's plans were postpended for unexplained reasons, he doesn't want Maximus to go there.
The king heard that Sylvia had run away from her home, and he hoped that she would never return. He thought this is the right time to change his son's mind and get married to another girl soon but again Theodore intervened and ruined all of his plans. Maximus no longer believes anyone in his family and he hates to even talk to his mother. He took Theodore's advice seriously.
The king is quite sad that his family is having too many problems caused by these strangers. To not fall under suspicion, the king asked Theodore and Nina to stay, contradicting his previous orders.
"Do you want me to stay or to leave, Uncle? Why do you seem so confused?" He asks, wondering what's going on in his uncle's mind.
