There was a towel on the cupboard, Nina used it to tie her hand and she didn't do anything to her leg because it hurts way too much whenever she moves it.
She lay on the bed, and how could she sleep without knowing when Theodore would return. She can't put away this thought that what happens if everyone comes to know about him, it can't stay secret forever. Will people accept him? And in the future will he be a danger to their children?
It made her restless so she doesn't want to go that far. She just prayed for his safe return.
When the sun was about to rise, Nina heard the knock, she limped to open it and saw Theodore in a disheveled state. He looked tired like he hadn't eaten or slept for days. Nina pulled him inside and he embraced her securely.
"It hurts," she said as he held her hand without knowing what he had done to her.
"I did this to you?" Theodore asks and his face is plastered in great regret.
