They have decided to not attack Sargon's boundaries until this winter's end, because that's the reason he sent that assassin but Theodore isn't going to fall in that trap. Attaching them to this weather might backfire them, he will lose his men. He wanted the next attack to be strong enough to put this war to an end. He wanted to avenge those who plotted to kill him and for every drop of blood that Maximus spilled, he wanted to kill the men in Sargon's family.
