After dinner, Lila took the dishes and washed them in the creek at the backside. Despite getting drenched, Sargon is standing by her side, holding a big banana leaf over her head, protecting her from the rain as it's still drizzling.
Lila wondered what happened to him all of a sudden. This gesture of his didn't add much to his behavior in the past weeks. Why is he suddenly acting kind towards her? She thought.
She stood up holding the dishes and saw his face, drenched in drizzle. Sargon gazed at her eyes, with a tiny smile.
Lila's heart starts to race and she quickly shifts her eyes down, having all the memories she shared in this house with him.
They walked inside the house just like when they first came here on their wedding night. After marriage, Sargon took her here instead of taking her to the palace. She didn't ask why as she was too nervous to talk with him and kind of scared about everything.
