Bree had sort of gotten used to Jasper's clinginess back when she was staying at his house but it was a lot different in her own body when people she knew saw and judged them for it. Everyone thought he was her boyfriend, not only Drew.
Her coworkers did. Her neighbors did. Random people on the street did.
She had reached a point where she didn't even bother to correct them. He wasn't her boyfriend though. She didn't know what she should be calling him. Her rather persistent shadow? Her best friend who somewhat bought her friendship? Her stalker who wouldn't take no for an answer?
Those all seemed kind of mean. It wasn't like Bree completely resented his presence. It was nice having someone around even if it was someone as confusing as Jasper.
