Bree wasn't sure why she bothered asking the big bad villain to do something so silly but Jasper nodded his assent and she got up and reformed the Squishmallows into a giant pile. His jump was rather sloppy but at least he didn't audibly hit the floor despite being much taller than her.
He blinked in shock at the impact and she burst out laughing again. Seeing someone so unflappable make faces twice in the space of a couple of minutes was more than she could take.
She should really be acting more cautiously. She was afraid of him and what he could do to her, wasn't she? But he was acting like such a softy right now that there wasn't anything threatening about him.
"That was interesting," Jasper said in his usual tone and Bree laughed even harder.
"I can't believe you actually did that!"
"Neither can I, honestly."
