Hailey was a ball of nerves the morning of her wedding. Everyone (but especially Annabel) fussed over her and she was getting overloaded and needed space. Unfortunately, she wouldn't be getting any until they made it to Hawaii. They were heading to the airport right after the reception so it would be an especially long day.
She forced herself to breathe and not trip in her heels when Jordan walked her down the aisle. She had never worn any until meeting Dallin and revamping her wardrobe because it's harder to fight in them.
"Look at you looking all girly. I can hardly recognize you," Jordan whispered teasingly at the top of the aisle.
"Good!" Hailey retorted.
He didn't say anything else because that was their cue. She saw Dallin beaming at her and beamed back, shoving her guilt into the back of her head. She wasn't doing anything wrong. They both wanted to marry each other.
