Ginger Robinson wanted to be cute and dainty. Unfortunately, this was impossible since she was six feet tall and muscular from her basketball days. She had needed the sports scholarship to get through college because she had no other way to pay for it after her parents died and didn't have any life insurance. Whatever they had in savings was used to take care of funeral and burial expenses.
She had stayed with her uncle until she graduated and he wanted nothing to do with her. He hadn't even wanted to take her in but felt like he had to because people would talk if he didn't.
Good riddance. She didn't need him…or her cheating ex-fiancé who changed his mind about her because he wanted someone smaller and cuter. His new girlfriend was more than half a foot shorter than him and a girly girl.
Ginger wasn't completely unfeminine. She liked dresses, nail polish, and doing her hair up. But she knew those things didn't suit her because of how she looked.
