Dane wished he could fast-forward through the cycle of having to explain himself. He knew it was stupid to put it off but if he managed to avoid everyone for the rest of the night, he wouldn't have to do it just yet.
Everyone else was meeting up to go bowling but he really wasn't in the mood so he volunteered to go grocery shopping instead since it needed to be done. Max and Zoe exchanged a glance, obviously worried about him, but they didn't say anything.
Maybe he should go get himself more jerky too. That might make him feel better.
