Riley didn't say anything on the matter until she realized Dietrian was living in a long-term stay hotel when she came to pick him up to go somewhere since it was cold. "I didn't know you were living in a hotel! I thought you were in an apartment!"
"I don't own much. It was easier since there's already furniture and cookware there," he explained.
She sighed. "Are you month-to-month here?"
"Yeah."
"Do you want to just stay with me starting at the end of the month then?"
Dietrian's heart soared. "I don't have to wait to do that! I can do it now! I'm already paid up for this month so it won't matter."
Riley smiled at him. "Alright then. We can come back to get your stuff later."
When they did come back to get his stuff, she was appalled by how little he had. "You seriously only have one suitcase?"
