"What DO you want?" Molly managed to get out. She had been wondering for quite a while.
Evan's reply was both straightforward and unbearably sweet. "I want a peaceful life by your side. Nothing else matters to me."
She was about one minute away from melting into a pile of sentimental goo. Had she ever heard anything more romantic in her entire life? And he still hadn't told her he loved her in those exact words!
He had to though if he wanted to stay with her forever. She didn't understand how he could say something like that but still be too shy to say 'I love you.' His wish gave her the confidence she needed to do it first.
"I want that too," Molly admitted around the lump in her throat. "I love you so nothing would make me happier."
