"Okay, you've seen her. Back up," Zeldris said warningly as his father moved closer to examine Ava more thoroughly.
"Don't be like that, Zeldris! I've never seen a human before," Zilvadon snapped.
"And you don't need to. They're really not all that interesting. If you'll excuse me, I need to go find her something to eat."
"Leave her here."
"Not happening."
"You really think I would let any harm befall her when we need her?" Zilvadon asked incredulously.
That didn't change Zeldris's mind. His answer was resolute. "Not. Happening. Come on, Ava. We're going out. You can go ahead and ignore them."
He teleported them out to a strange and frightening version of a forest and used a bow and arrow made of lightning to shoot some sort of weird looking animal somewhat similar to a deer before using magic to summon it to him rather than approaching it. He immediately set to work cleaning and cooking it with additional magic.
