Hannah couldn't deny she was worried about Ezra after that. The moment passed and he went back to acting as cheerful and cuddly as ever but she couldn't help but wonder what was brewing just beneath the surface.
He was overprotective but that wasn't the only weird thing about him. He tried his best to hide it but frequently didn't seem to know what common things were and often misread or mispronounced words. He didn't have an accent but it was almost like English wasn't his first language.
Not that there was anything wrong with that but she found it odd that he never said anything about being from somewhere else. He didn't say much about himself period.
Ezra preferred to talk about Hannah or the things they both liked. She spent all of her free time with him and still didn't know a thing about his past. She didn't even know where he had lived before moving to California.
