I'm Althaia Bernice Capistrano and this is my story.
I remember waking up inside a hospital with my parents crying.
I asked them "Ma. Pa what happened why am I here?"
They told me that I got into an accident and I've been in a coma for a year now.
Nagulat ako I asked them where's my boyfriend Jiro pero hindi nila ako sinagot the doctors checked on me, I went through therapy for almost 3 months pero sa loob nang tatlong buwan na yon Jiro never visited me.
Jiro Shawn Neri is my college boyfriend we started dating when we were both in our 4th year of nursing, then we decided to become doctors so nag med school kami everything was so perfect.
On our last year of residency he proposed to me I remember him proposing to me sa rooftop nang hospital kung saan kami nagre-residency. We were both so hands-on on our upcoming big day despite our hectic schedule. I got into an accident before the day we were going to get married I remember being hit by a car yun lang.
It has been a month since I went out of the hospital, I started going to work again since I had some requirements lacking sa residency ko. I tried calling him, tinanong ko ang mga magulang nya kung nasaan sya, and even asked his friends pero they kept on telling me they didn't know kung nasaan si Jiro napansin ko din na wala yung kapatid ko I asked my parents kung nasaan ang ate ko pero they just told me she was busy working, Jiro and my ate were both 28 habang ako naman ay 26. My ate is a model and napaka perfect nya to the point na masasabi mong na sa kanya na ang lahat. For 2 months I worked and worked wala akong ginawa kung hindi magtrabaho at umuwi pagkatapos kong magtrabaho I still went to church every Sunday thanking Lord for everything.
Until one day I was doing my rounds nakita ko si Jiro na may kasamang babae
"J-Jiro ikaw ba yan"
Natigilan silang dalawa nang kasama nyang babae nagulat naman ako nang humarap sila sa akin shock was written all over their faces. I saw my ate with a big baby bump siguro mga na sa 7 months na yung tiyan na magkahawak ang kanilang kamay, I wasn't stupid alam na alam ko kung anong nangyayari
"Althaia I-I'm sorry" yumuko si Jiro
"You don't have to say sorry Jiro sya naman yung nagka coma she left you. Althaia I'm pregnant with our second baby 2 years na kami ni Jiro iniwan mo sya I was there for him hindi ikaw sana maging masaya ka na kasi masaya na kami ni Jiro we're also getting married after the baby's born you can attend our wedding" nagulat naman ako sa sinabi ni ate
"All I did was to study and love you Jiro tapos when I woke up from a coma wala ka kaya pala kasi kasama mo na ang ate ko, I wish you both all the best in life if you'll excuse me I'll get going" iniwan ko na sila doon
I have been following them for 4 months before that scene in the hospital kaya di na ako nagulat I went abroad and worked as a doctor in London.
It has been a year since that incident, I'm happy and contented with what I have now nagpapadala pa din ako sa magulang ko and I also heard that ate lost their second baby pinadala sya sa mental kaya si Jiro lang yung nag-aalaga sa anak nila ni ate ngayon.
