Chapter 54 - Massacre

"Let's go! Don't teleport, I have a feeling you won't end up where you want to!" I said as I activated [Law Manipulation] and began to fly independently of Obera's support.

Obera nodded at my comment as we reached approached the mansion's roof. The barrier which should have stopped us was down somehow, so we didn't have to waste time deciphering it, although since I'd used [Solomon] to analyze it for weaknesses like a madman every time I was here, even if it WAS still operational... somehow, I'd get through it no problem.

Neither of us bothered to slow down or to just our landings as we crashed into the roof and fell straight through it and into the third floor. I looked forward to see a masked Majin standing three meters in front of us and carrying a spear. Behind him was the door to Milim's room which was ajar.

I wasted no time on pleasantries as I immediately summoned my weapons and ran the man through using my spear in an instant. I didn't stop to slow down, kicking open the doorway and seeing a group of Majin surrounding one of the maids who was holding Milim defensively. I believe her name was Salome or something.

"Stay back! I will protect the young mistress!" She said definitely.

"Hehehe- Kill her men! We only need the kid." The one who looked to be the leader said with an evil chuckle.

"They can't hear you anymore," I replied. "They are already dead."

The man turned to look at me only to have his head fly off his shoulders and thud against the floor. A look of stupefied horror was forever etched onto it as he witnessed the headless bodies of all his subordinates as they slowly turned to ash. Salome looked up at me for a moment before her eyes went wide in shock. It was obvious she recognized me and was relieved, as she ran up to me holding Milim close with tears in her eyes. I caught her in a soft hug to reassure her it was going to be alright while not inuring the infant Milim.

"It's ok, it's ok. I'm here now, but you need to follow me. We are going to get the others too." I said.

After several moments, Salome was able to recompose herself. She exhaled briefly before nodding. "The Master and Mistress should be downstairs in the lobby holding off their main forces. There were several Majin with absurd power there and Master Velda said he would hold them off. Mistress Lucia is supporting him with her magic!" Salome said.

I nodded at that and turned around, running back towards the main lobby. Obera had long since left me when she noticed that Salome and Milim were fine and I assume she was going to help them, so I decided to slow down and eliminate all the other enemies in the building.

"{|Artemis' Hunt|}" I called out, throwing my spear ahead of myself and embuing it with Primitive Magic.

{|Artemis' Hunt|} was a unique magic art I'd created in my spare time when testing just how absurd the limits of Primitive Magic were. Basically, it was a temporary enchantment I could add to my weapon before throwing it. The Spear would then be controlled by [Solomon] and guided using [Clairvoyance]. It could round corners and go through walls, hunting down my enemies ruthlessly, and with my infinitely regenerating magicules, I could keep it going forever, as I recovered them faster than I lost using this. (A/N: Imagine Yondu's Arrow from Guardians of the Galaxy but with a giant spear that disintegrates you when it touches you.)

As we went, I made sure to stop whenever I saw a fallen maid or worker and cast some variation of {Heal} on them or {Ressurection} on the dead. I wasn't nearly as good as Luminous was at using Holy Magic, but the years I'd spent with [Metatron] had allowed me a firm grasp over Holy Magic, so I knew the principles behind the technique, and with my near-limitless reserves of energy, I could overcompensate for my lack of precision by throwing magicules at the problem until it worked.

I didn't stop until I reached the main lobby where I saw a mound of dead bodies and an exhausted-looking Velda and Lucia. Obera, for some reason, was stuck in mid-air looking like she was about to strike a good-looking young man with blonde hair and blue eyes. He held both of his hands forward and was sweating profusely as he seemed to be struggling with something.

"So whatever he points his hands at is time stopped huh?" I muttered. That WOULD be the only way that someone of his level, not even entering the Million Class EV-wise, would be able to stop Obera whose value was several million.

"Master Alaster, what are we going to do?" Salome asked

"Stay here," I said before I jumped over the railing and landed in the lobby.

"Another one!?! Shit! Alexis!" The young man called out.

"I'm on it!" Said a voice coming from the wall behind me, or more specifically, the shadow from the wall behind me.

"master Alaster! Look out!" Lucia called out.

A Black colored ooze shot out from it, appearing to be some kind of black slimy mass that was converted into the shape of an arrow. I didn't even bother to dodge it, as an attack of that level was nothing to me. It easily bounced clean off my [Solomon's Wall] and into the wall nearby.

"Impossible! How did my {Dark Arrow} fail!!?!" The voice in the wall said in a panic.

"I was going to get you next, but if you're so eager to die then I don't mind putting you higher up the list." I said as Longinus came shooting around the corner, still in its {|Artemis' Hunt|} mode, and impaled the wall where the voice came from.

A moment later, a young man with black hair fell out of the shadow in the wall, slowly disintegrating as he approached the floor and finally exploding into a pile of dust when he hit it. I held my hand open and Longinus instantly appeared back into my open hand.

"Nooooo!!! Alexis!!!" Another of the otherworlders who was beside the blonde-haired man yelled in tragic anguish.

"Damn it!" The blonde shouted.

"You'll pay for that!" The woman screamed as dozens of blades appeared around her and were suddenly launched at me.

I continued walking towards them, unabated by the coming rain of weapons. When they finally arrived and stuck me, they shattered against my diamond-hard skin, not even slowing my stride. The woman clicked her tongue and summoned more weapons, bigger this time, and launched them at me at even greater speeds, but to no avail. The same result, they shattered against my body, not even cutting my clothes.

"What-what are you!?!" The woman muttered in shock, taking a step back and increasing her attack speed even further.

"Death," I said coldly as I walked past her, releasing a small amount of my Fighting Spirit, which I'd contained in a small barrier so as to only affect the two of us.

The full might of [Demigod's Haki] made its first debut and it did not disappoint. The woman's eyes immediately rolled into the back of her head, her mouth foamed and blood shot out from her nose. She was dead and her spirit was shattered long before she even hit the floor. All of this, however, didn't slow my stride at all.

"Ah-ah-AHHHH!!!!" The last remaining man yelled in terror as he changed the angle of one of his arms towards me to freeze me in place as he did with Obera.

Of course, I wasn't deterred. I was fully Digital Lifeform now, and time-stop hacks wouldn't affect me anymore. Not only that, but I held TWO Ultimate Skills. His Unique Level Skill would never affect me, especially when he's splitting his power between trying to hold both me and Obera.

I took another step, undeterred.

"Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait! Wait!" He cried out, waving his one free hand at me. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Don't kill me! I have a family! back in the other world! I have a wife and daughter!" He begged.

I stopped walking and smiled smugly at him, though from his perspective, it probably looked like I was toying with my food.

"Please! I know what we did was wrong, but we were summoned to this world without our content! We found out the current incarnation of God was staying here and we were trying to get him to send us home! We had to capture his daughter for insurance!" He pleaded before he stopped and looked up at me.

"Is it you? Was it your daughter we were trying to take!?! You're the creator!?!" He asked in a panic.

I almost lunged at him when he insinuated this and I could tell with my senses that Velda was rolling his eyes while sitting on the floor being healed by Lucia. Salome had long since arrived beside them to put them at ease about Milim's safety. I guess it was natural though, Velda, despite being well... GOD, had given up most of his power already. He also wasn't a Digital Lifeform and Lucia was more of a support type with her magic, so I can assume that the people who'd attacked me earlier were able to put up a decent fight against Velda and Lucia if this guy was using his time-hacks. I don't think Velda is a digital lifeform right now, since he's only an Enlightened Human.

Then I showed up and effortlessly killed his two comrades and showed complete immunity to his time hack, so he assumed he just admitted to trying to kidnap 'my' daughter in front of me, so he was panicking right now.

"Please! I just want to see my family!" He begged tears in his eyes.

"You're misunderstanding two things. First, I'm not the creator, it's that dummy over there who didn't heed my warnings." I said pointing my thumb at Velda, who was scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

"And the second is that you think I care about the tragic backstory of a dead man." I finished as the man's body suddenly exploded, painting the walls and floor red with his blood.

"Thank you, Alaster. For letting me get the final blow." Obera remarked.

"No problem, I know how awkward it feels to be frozen in time like that while still able to witness the rest of the world," I commented, placing my hand on her shoulder.

Obera smiled softly at that. "Is that so?"

"Yup, Velzard liked to do that to tease me when I still wasn't a fully Digital Lifeform yet," I added.

It was true, she liked to tease me by stopping time when I was in the middle of something and kissing me on the nose or drooping off of me or other things like that. I always hated when she did that, as the feeling of being able to sense the world around you but not move or interact with anything is a bit terrifying. Since I knew how it felt, I felt like giving Obera the killing blow would be cathartic.

I had to thank her somehow for dragging me through that ripple in reality after all. I turned to look at Velda, Lucia, and Salome who were walking toward us. I also saw Lucia quietly cast a spell to make it rain, which should put out the fires of the mansion. This part was still alright, but the rest of it had nearly completely burned down.

"Thanks for the assist, Alaster," Velda said awkwardly.

"Assist? I saved the damn day!" I smiled smugly.

"Alaster, show some respect!" Obera shot back at me.

"It's fine Obera. He kinda has the right to say, 'I told you so' because well, he did." Velda admitted.

'[Solomon]!' I commanded.

I did a mental fist pump.

Lucia gave Velda a light nudge before turning to Salome and embracing Milim again. She held her close for a while before turning her head and looking back at me. "Thank you, Alaster. For everything."

My smile went from smugly victorious to soft. "Don't worry about it, Lucia. Its what friends are for." I commented.

"Still, what are you doing here? Didn't you tell us Velzard was going into labor? And why'd you pick up Obera?" Velda asked.

I gave a pained smile. "We've got a lot to talk about, but for right now..." I turned towards the doorway and used Primitive Magic to create a {Gate} spell, linking the waiting area I was just into the room where we were. "Let's talk about it AFTER my kid is born..." I said, shaking a bit more in nervousness thinking at how I might have missed it already.

"I don't know if it's a good idea to leave the mansion yet," Lucia said with a tinge of guilt in her voice. "What about all the people here that might need help? We can't leave such a mess too."

Salome chuckled for a bit, bringing all of our attention to her. "There are no worries, Mistress. Master Alaster made sure to protect us all and save everyone on his way here. We will be fine. You have all shown us the strength of those who stand at the top of the world in strength. Let us show you the power of those at the top of the world in cleanliness! We are the maids of the creator after all!" She said, strangely determined for some reason. I could have sworn I even saw that weird gleam in her smile.

A/N: Webnovel kept deleting this chapter whenever I'd write it today. It was supper weird, like I'd just be minding my own business and writing the chapter when *BAM* inkstone would somehow log out for me for a few seconds before login back in automatically and I'd lose all my progress since the last save.

It really sucked out my will to write when I lost all my work four times and I became so paranoid that I was saving after every two sentences or so. Would it kill them to implement an autosave feature?
