Sven and I stayed on the terrace of my room until the sun was about to peek through the horizon for a new day. I had always known I wanted to listen to his story back when we first met, but I had many things in mind and I didn't want to get attached to someone whom I knew wouldn't stay.
I still knew Sven would leave one day, but I couldn't stop myself from listening to his tales. It felt like I was also in those places, experiencing his crazy days. Sometimes, I would wonder if he wasn't truly stupid because one thing I realized was he was quite dumb… or simply reckless. Or maybe he just had too much luck on him.
Either way, our time together ended in the third country before I bid him farewell to get some rest. Who would have thought I would think of that now the moment I open my eyes?
I gazed at the high ceiling, which was decorated delicately. All I could think of were the stories he told me last night — they were amazing. I smiled at the thought.
