At the same time, the orb that Callum took started spinning, moving faster and faster as the orb no longer only oozed darkness like it had done initially, but gave away light, a light so bright it illuminated the entire twilight forest.
Suddenly the orb started cracking, but our protagonist was too tired to witness the birth of something very, I mean extremely rare.
Moving on
Call (Callum, same person) woke up to the touch of grass that breezed towards his face, swaying to the wind. He woke up and watched around with his hollow eyes, gasping at the sight before him, the elven quartz turned into the dust where it came from, a wide array of plants and vines covering the previous elven room, turning everything more earthly and homely.
Suddenly he spotted a little figure from the corner of his vision. It sneaked up on him, slowly creeping up to him while giggling.
"Who?" Callum asked, quickly turning to the figure, who suddenly rushed towards him. He held his finger tips outwards, hoping his sharp and strong bones would pierce the silent figure, but it jumped him and...hugged him?.
"PAPA!!" The little figure shouted. Callum could finally see the little one clearly. It was a loli with emerald green eyes and a cute baby-face. She kept holding on to his waist- umm, his ribs, holding on tightly as he felt the bone nearly break.
"Arghh!" He shouted, he just felt like someone pulled his stomach out of his body and dragged him with a car while his stomach was his only safety measure.
"Papa, are you hurt?" The little pixie like girl asked, her eyes flashed green light and so did her palm as a wild ray of energy found it's way into his bones, nourishing his bones as a wild ray of energy coursed through his veins, as he felt as though a drill was cracking through his bones, creating a vein which his mana passed through.
'Did she just... it's not possible, how could she help me make mana veins, it shouldn't be possible by anyone except the.' Callum took a deep breath as he realized the identity of the little miss.
"Conste- constellation" He whispered slowly.
"UN" The girl nodded to confirm his words. Callum immediately dropped to his knees and didn't dare to look up. This little girl is probably a old hag who likes acting like a little kid. This happened to a previous contracted human as well. His constellation toyed with his senses until he committed suicide just because he had the though of injuring her.
After a while of kneeling with his head down, he saw that the pixie was nowhere to be seen. "Move Papa, move" The Constellation spoke. Callum obliged, not wanting to die. "Faster, faster. Kathy wants to move faster" Soon Callum was crawling at his fastest pace, Kathy hanging on to his spine while he tried to shake her of.
After a short while, he stopped and asked Kathy to get of, and she obliged, landing on his shoulder. "Why do you call me Papa?" He couldn't help but ask. "Because you are papa" She responded as if it's 'a fact'.
"How old are you?" He asked, hoping to gain more information, because there was a wild thought in his head and he is screwed if she answers as he expected.
"Kathy is 2 days old" She responded, proud of being able to count.
Immediately Callum felt his knees weaken. Kathy is a newly born constellation, and seeing how they both released similar aura, she probably used his aura to connect to the will of the world, explaining the temporary epiphany he had when he had fainted from mana overload.
"Are you, my daughter?" He asked. He was always alone, no parents, never adopted, never had a girl friend. So having a little baby girl that actually looked similar to the him before, he can't help but be happy.
'I have family' He beamed a smile with his jaws, creating a menacing look that Kathy strangely liked. Callum held Kathy in his palms and lifted her sky high, twisting and turning while the little bundle of joy enjoyed the strange sense of familiarity and love.
However, the moment was disturbed by a sudden glow in Kathy's eyes and the wisps of smoke that rose from her mouth.
"I, Katherina Illius Von etheir request the ode and will of the world to provide my chosen contractee the system with the powers within my body."
As soon as she completed whatever she was whispering, her eyes fell shut and she dropped to the floor, barely saved by Callum who caught his little girl before she fell down. but right after he caught his baby girl, a huge presence filled a monstrous amount of pressure pressed onto Callum, whose bones squeaked as the pressure overwhelmed the boy flat onto the ground.
Right after he had touched the floor the pressure had stopped.[Your constellation has requested that you are to be provided with the power of the will of the world at the sacrifice of her mana reserves. However, her mana isn't sufficient enough for the will to provide connection to the system, so the opportunity of tasks have been replaced with the power of your constellation, namely the...]
