Caleb chuckled. "Go and tell this to Auril. He was turning full beastly, when I mentioned that I won't allow him to go to Bainsburgh!"
Elize thinned her lips. She wasn't going to allow this nonsense. The child was too young and she had known him ever since he was barely a teenager. Whenever she visited Dawn's home, she used to carry chocolates for him.
"Hey, what are you thinking?" Caleb asked, pulling her out of her thoughts.
"Auril is a mature man. He has to understand that it isn't right."
"I agree, Lizzy, but there's no harm in him seeing Cole just to reassure his feelings. He said that he wouldn't meet him or even talk to him if he came here. Also, if Cole doesn't come here, I guess I will give him one day liberty to see Cole. Of course, it will all be staged under the garb of having business with Daryn."
She rolled her eyes. "Maybe I should talk to Auril about it."
