Ivana and the rest of the councilmen were standing in front of Caleb. He was sitting in the council room at the head of the table, drumming his fingers on its edge. "What do you know about his whereabouts?" he asked again when no one answered.
Shaking like a leaf in the summer wind, one of them said, "We don't know where he is at present."
Caleb stared at him with eyes full of fury. He waved his hand in a semi arc and said, "Kneel." The man kneeled against his wishes as the king's magic forced him.
"I don't know! I don't!" he said, sweat forming on his forehead.
"Kill him," Caleb ordered his soldier.
