Chapter 2 - The start 1.2

On the next day, same courtroom. In the center, Achylis, Hipnosa, and a man were conducting some sort of ritual. After some time Achylis fainted, and the man had something in his hands.

"Heh, even the baby is a monster. Quick, banish this thing." The man nods and a dark portal appear out of thin air on his left. Holding the lifeless dark black baby with one hand, he puts the other inside the portal. It sways a little and a suction starts coming from it.

He glance the last time at what he was holding. If anyone told him that the baby was actually a stone, he would believe. He sighed and with a flick of his hand, he threw the baby inside the portal.

"Thanks, Prunos. We're done here, you can go now." Hipnosa smiled, but Prunos had an uncomfortable look on his face. "If she rebels, I won't do anything Hipnosa. I hope that you made the right choice. Farewell." Another portal appear in front of him, and with a step forward, he vanished. "So what?" Hipnosa grinned and vanished too.

Weeks later, Achylis's office.

Achylis was reading the same book as before. In one of her hands, a strange light was glowing. "I've probably gone insane... Haha, will you forgive me, son?" The light swayed a little. "I hope that it means yes..."

Well, there is no turning back now. I'll give you a body soon. I wish I could give you mine, but nothing is as simple as it seems. I'm sorry, but you'll need to live as a mortal for the time being." The light swayed for a while and then floated to the desk.

"Even if a mortal body, your soul is divine. You will inherit the power of life. Although the last god died because of this power, I'll make sure that no god gets close to you, at least until you're strong enough to kill them." The light jumped up and down for some time, excited.

Three years later, Machai galaxy. One of the galaxies under Achylis's supervision.

"The time has come son." She was in space, surrounded by stars and a single planet. "This is the best planet I can think of. I hope you grow healthy..." She caressed the light on her hand a few times. "I hope we can meet again soon. Good luck." She extended her hand, and the light fled to the planet. "Now, I've to train again. Where is that War book again?" She rubs her chin and then vanishes.

Ayon planet, year 4270.

A dense forest. A small village could be seen in the forest heart. Countless houses on the top of trees. People surrounded the biggest hut. They had pointy ears and blond hair.

"A healthy baby!" Someone from inside the wooden hut screamed. The people surrounding it exclaimed and cheered.

Inside, a bed with a woman laying down. Four people were surrounding her with expectant looks. In her arms, was a baby.

The baby had a strange birthmark, however. A V-shaped mark below both eyes with a dark color. One of the wings of the V followed the line of the eye, and the other followed the line of the nose.

"Why doesn't he open his eyes? Is he sick?" The woman on the bed had green eyes, blond hair, and white skin. An older woman on her side answered. "He is just fine, don't worry about it." The older woman was the grandmother of the baby, as well as the midwife. Grey blond hair and the same green eyes. Her face had wrinkles.

On the other side of the bed, a tall man leaned forward and kissed the baby's forehead. Blond hair, blue eyes, and white skin. "He is a tough guy, just like his father." The mother stared at him, seemingly upset. "He doesn't need to be strong, as long as he doesn't die..." She hugged the baby tightly with a pained expression.

"What day is it?" One elderly elf asked the father. The elf scratched his chin. "Year 4270, harvesting season, day four." The elder elf promptly wrote the date on a noble piece of wood.

After he was done writing, he gave the wood slate to the father with a smile. "With this, your son is finally one of us. Congratulations again." Grabbing the slate with his right hand and turning it around, he nods. "Thanks pops."

Later on that night, a great party was held. The son of the village chief had finally been born.
