After Keisuke's tortu- training was over, it was finally time to go to school
Kei steped out of the sect
Visible muscle had started being visible ever since Kei became a cultivator, but after 19 days of hel- training, the muscles became really pronounced
"Mmmm my muskles"
Kei grabbed his bag and headed of for school
As Kei started heading off he thought about his plans
'my plan for weponising the civilians is going perfectly, news reported guy has learnt his first attack spell already, magic missile, he can probably take out a few cobolts by himself, of course he has taken in a lot of disciples especially after people learnt that "his" magic is real. I'm glad'
Kei cautiously crossed the road after looking both ways
'That damn Akira really is strong, how can his punches hurt so much? Well, at least getting punched helps build up my endurance, now I won't be so scared to get hit in battle. But hell, I can't be thankful! He was just venting his anger!'
Kei cautiously walked past a construction site, constantly looking around with his divine consciousness
'The day, is peaceful today, I don't think anything will happen, maybe I should let my guard down... IS WHAT GOD IS WAITING FOR ME TO DO! HAHA I WON'T FALL FOR YOUR TRICKS!'
Kei made it to school in one piece and got to his classroom
"Oh my god Fujima! Why do you have a black eye!"
A random girl proclaimed
"I fell on a brick"
Keisuke gave a quick/witty answer and quickly went to rest on his desk
'ahh, nothing beats laying on your desk on a school day, though... I feel like I'm forgetting something...'
*slam*
"Kei! You dumbass! You were supposed to wait for me so that we go to school together!"
Akira furiously slammed open the door and barated Kei
"Good morning Akira, how unexpected to see you here"
Kei said with a poker face
'Fuuuuuuck! I completely forgot!'
"Good morning my ass, next time wait for me, its boring to walk all the way to school alone, I can't understand how you forget so easily."
Akira promptly took a seat right in front of Keisuke
[WARNING WARNING]
[NEW GATE FOUND]
[Ten meters above. Possible position, roof]
[Gate outbreak imminent, time tile outbreak 3 minutes]
Cold sweat starts visibly showing on Keisuke's face as he read the system's warnings
Akira saw that something was wrong
"Kei, is it code red?"
"Code what? When did we make codes?!"
Keisuke asked almost like he had lost a few chapters
"Well, we can't just say *whispering* "hey monsters are here let's go fight them" in public!"
Akira was spitting some facts, as always
'That's true, if we say things like that our identities will be revealed'
"Yes! Yes, it's code red follow me!"
They then dashed out of the classroom and headed to the roof
*classmates view*
Gossip girl- "Oh my, could they be a couple? Such vigor..."
She says as she touches her blushing cheeks
*Back to Keisuke view*
As they run up the stairs to get to the roof Kei asked the system
'SYSTEM! why did you just notice a portal on the top of our heads?! And one that's about to burst nonetheless!'
[The Useless struggle system doesn't have much use other than giving techniques. It seems that God figured out that it can detect his magic, God must have tinkered with his magic and made it harder to detect for the system specifically]
'Fuck then, I won't hold you accountable'
They finally reach the roofs' door and opened it
The blinding rays of the sun in our eyes were short lived
As they had a much bigger problem in their hands to solve
"Damn it! We don't have enough time to go in and defeat the boss. An outbreak is bound to happen, Here wear this"
*cloth in air sounds*
"The cloak? You actually brought it? Amazing! I thought you wouldn't be prepared for anything after the Heavenly tribulation incident!"
Akira asked surprised
"Well, you can never be overly prepared, thankfully I had put them in my bag"
'thankfully I forgot to take them out of my bag'
The boys waited readily for the dungeon break
And it came hitting like a truck
First it was 10 cobolts
"How about I take 4 and you take 6 since you are stronger"
"Make it 7 heh."
Akira said with a cocky attitude and grin, Akira certainly was much stronger than Kei, even if Kei's talent was a little better
'damn it, we didn't bring swords, guess I'll alter basic fist technique a little to use sword aura'
Kei started using movements from basic fist technique but had his hands were like knife hands that were engrossed in a sharp blue aura, almost like an improvised sword
"Hya!"
Kei swiftly dispatched the three cobolts, and as he looked at Akira's side, so has he
Next up we're 7 orcs
"2 to 5?"
Akira nodded
*slash*
Keisuke jumped on an orc and quickly cut through it's skull killing it instantly, the other orc tried to swing at Kei from the back but he had already activated his Divine consciousness when the fight started
"hup!"
Kei backfliped avoiding the hit and cut the orcs' head upside down midair
*clap clap clap clap*
"Nice one, bonus style points"
Akira recognised Kei's efforts and praised him
Next, 3 ogres came out, and one was mutated
"1 to two?"
"I'll take the mutated along with a normal."
Akira was reliable as always, or greedy...
They both dashed at their respective opponents
As Kei got close the ogre swung it's giant club downwards
*wossh*
Kei dodged and the club hit the roof making cracks appear, Kei quickly jumped and slashed the ogre in the eye hole, deep enough to stab it's brain
"I've slayed the vile beast"
'I've become stronger'
Kei took a look at Akiras side and he has already finished
"You've become stronger"
Akira proclaimed in a monotone voice
"I mean... Obviously, I broke through to martial body. But I still don't know what realm you are in"
"I'll tell you later, for now, the portal is still open."
Akira made a proper point once again
'He is right, why isn't the portal closing?'
Kei and Akira started hearing the voices of panicked peers outside the school
"it seems that they have evacuated, lucky us"
Kei said with a cautious facial expression while they both look at still open the portal
Suddenly the portal started fluctuating
"And here comes another..."
A giant rock hand started gushing out from the portal, it grabbed the portal edges and widened it up more so that it's full body could pass through
"Oh. My. God."
A giant rock golem slowly started getting out of the portal, it's fists were almost flat, it's shoulders were pointy and a single yellow glowing eye was able to be seen on its head
It try was giant, remember how a human can kind of climb up an ogre? Well, an ogre was nothing in front of this Golem.
A single ogre was slightly bigger than an arm of this Golem
"Akira.... You can defeat this... Right?"
Akira just stared at the Rock Golem in silence
"Well, fuuuck. Akira, listen to me, the weakness of a golem is always its core, if we destroy it, the golem will cease to function, that eye resembles a core but I doubt it really is the true core, its probably just bait, don't attack the eye I suspect it to be a trap, nobody makes the core so obvious.
Kei gave Akira some basic knowledge on golems
"Right, thanks for the heads up"
At that moment Keisuke noticed something
"Oh right, Akira, where did you put your sword, how come you came prepared with your sword at school?"
Kei asked since he had to leave his sword back at Akiras sect since bringing a sword to school would gather unwanted attention (and perhaps the police)
" Dimensional pouch"
Akira blurted out without explaining as he knew Kei would understand right away
'Oh right, cultivators do have that for them, although rare, a dimensional pouch has the outside appearance of a small pouch, but in reality it has the capacity to fit a lot more inside of the space within. Some are a room wide, others have house size and the legendary pouches would probably have too much space to measure.'
"I'll start attacking now"
Akira announced his attack
"I always believed in you Akira"
Akira goes in for an attack right on the voluptuous chest of the golem using the hilt of his sword
~Boom crack~
A loud explosion erupted from the attack and a crack formed on the golems' chest revealing the true core glowing with a blue hue
"HAHA! YOU DID IT! YOU FOUND WHERE THE CORE IS!"
Keisuke's happiness was short lived as the Golem went to slam both its hands on Akira
*BOOM* *RUBBLE NOISES*
"AKIRA!"
'OH, HE DODGED!'
Thankfully for Akira he managed to dogde in time, but unfortunately the brittle roof of the school was underneath them
"Oh no!"
The roof collapsed and took them, the rubble and the Rock golem down a floor
~BOOM~
As the Rock golem hit the other floor, this one collapsed as well
And finally, we reached the bottom floor
For a second Keisuke was lost in thought but he quickly regained his wits
Kei rose from the rumble to see a standing Akira and a fully healed golem
'Oh right, I forgot to mention that golems do that'
"Akira! Golems heal fast! I have a plan. Punch it with all you've got in the chest and I'll take care of the core!"
Akira just noded with a determined look on his face and quickly dashed at the golem, as did Kei
Akira got a lot of momentum and jumped at the golem, the golem had no time to defend and got hit on the chest
~CRACK~
A much larger crack nowcvisible on its chest, access to its core was easy
The golem stumbled from all that force and almost lost its balance
Keisuke took that opportunity and swiftly got on its chest, his knife hands glowing a similar colour to the Golem
"This is goodbye. HAA!"
~Glass breaking sound~
As Kei broke the core of the golem, the core started glowing brighter and brighter by the second, the magic keeping it together was going haywire
"Oh fuck!"
Kei quickly jumpep on Akiras back
"RUN! IT'S GOING TO EXPLODE!"
Akira without missing a beat quickly took the both of them outside the school, at the side that didn't have all the students gathered
~BAM~ ~CRACK~ ~rumble~
A large scale explosion took down the rest of the school making it unusable
"Haaaa,,, like destroying 3 floors wasn't enough."
~Distant noises~
~Oh god how could this happen!
"They seem to be coming this way"
Akira announced
"You are right. We better get out of here fast!"
"ALBERT! TO THE BAT CAVE!"
Akira looked at Kei, and with a disgusted look, droped him to the ground
