The Empress woke up nice, and early to wake up the Admiral because Enterprise ordered her to do it for her since she's on a long commission. Yamato was greeted with many "good mornings" by other shipgirls until she finally reached the Admiral's dorm, when she was here, Yamato told the Admiral about the spy in the base which was Duke of York from another base.
She didn't get any information about what happened to her except for the Admiral saying they captured the imposter shipgirl. Yamato entered the dorm thanks to a key given by Enterprise before she left, the Empress closed the door when she's inside, and saw many things there unlike the previous time she was there it was dark.
The dorm was well furnished like it was some kind of 5 star apartment or penthouse, Yamato decided to have a tour around the dorm to check the stuff of the Admiral. The Empress saw a few weapons on the wall like the same sword when the Admiral, and Yamato first met each other. A heavily modified M4 Carbine assault rifle. The beast of all snipers, the Barrett 50cal with some kind of advanced scope? Two pistols, modified 1911, and standard Desert Eagle, and lastly a Japanese katana.
Yamato looked over to the other side to see two large shelves with windows to see the many awards, trophies, medals, and many more inside. The Empress was a bit overwhelmed by how many awards the Admiral got unlike her in the past life only getting a ribbon of "you did your best" in a cooking contest.
The Empress looked around the dorm once more until realizing something, isn't the Admiral already married? Why isn't there a picture of his wife inside the dorm? Maybe it's inside the bedroom so the Admiral can look at the picture of himself, and his wife before going to sleep. Yamato finally decided to wake up the Admiral.
When she entered the bedroom, she saw the Admiral sleeping peacefully hugging his pillow. Yamato walked inside slowly trying to not wake up the Admiral just yet, she looked around the bedroom to find barely any stuff inside. There's the closet filled with clothes, shoes, and other clothes. Yamato also sees there's no pictures of the Admiral's "wife".
"[There's no pictures of the so-called "wife", is the Admiral faking it?]" Yamato thought. "Hey, Admiral, wake up."
Yamato tried shaking the Admiral to wake him up, a big mistake as out of instinct from the Admiral. He suddenly grabbed Yamato by the arm, pulled her towards his bed then hugged her tightly. Yamato was confused, and surprised as hell. Enterprise didn't warn her about the Admiral doing this out of nowhere.
The Admiral squeezed his head between Yamato's large oil tanks as he continued to sleep, Yamato realized that he wasn't awake then tried to escape from his strong grasps, but failed.
"Enterprise… Don't move… Zzzzzz." Justin said in his sleep.
"[Well, shit. I can't escape…]" Yamato thought.
[Timeskip]
Yamato waits for the Admiral to finish dressing up in his uniform in the living room, after a few hours of Yamato trying to wake up the Admiral she finally did at 8:00 am. The Admiral was surprised to see the pissed Yamato when he woke up then released her from his tight hug. The Admiral exits from his bedroom, and walks to the living room.
"Sorry about earlier, it's just I got used to Enterprise sleeping beside me sometimes." Justin apologized, he fixed his hat. "Shall we go now?"
"Hmph! Fine, don't expect me to do that to you again." Yamato said, standing up and leaving the room with the Admiral.
"Weirdly enough… You felt like someone I know that hasn't done that for me, but I know they had before…" Justin muttered.
"[Does he know that I can hear him? And what does that mean? I know that I used to let my boyfriend back in my universe to sleep between my used to be flat chest, does that means it also connects here?]" Yamato thought. "So, Admiral when I was inside your dorm… I didn't see any pictures of your wife anywhere. Did you hid them somewhere?"
"Yes, I hid them somewhere, and only I know where it is." Justin answered without hesitation, Yamato is a bit suspicious about it. "Why were you looking at my stuff anyways? There's nothing that interests you."
"Well… Uhh… Got curious, that's all." Yamato said. "Anyways, enough about me, let's talk about us— I mean, the tournament. I heard base 8 was called the best base in the world or something like that."
"Base 8? Nah, they are not the best in my eyes, they are the worst one ever to be known. The public doesn't know about it." Justin said. "Their tactics are so predictable, avoidable, and easy to counter."
"Eh? How come? New Jersey said they are unpredictable." Yamato said.
"You will know when the tournament has started, for now. Practice with other shipgirls to improve your combat capabilities, and try not to…" Justin paused.
He suddenly pushed Yamato to the wall, placing a hand on her right side as their faces were inches away from each other, Yamato was shocked by the Admiral's bold move. He smiles, causing the Empress to have a faint blush on her face as she looks away, the Admiral to her right side.
"Kill other shipgirls, okay? Ya~ma~to~" Justin whispered.
The Empress suddenly got chills down her spine then pushed the Admiral backwards still smiling at her.
"Don't you dare do that again to me, motherfucker! I can report you for sexual harassment!" Yamato said her cheeks were really red. The Admiral's smile turned serious.
"And your existence will become known to the rest of Azur Lane then the world? Yamato, think about it. If the Azur Lane Organization knows about you, there will be a civil war going to happen because other Admirals want someone powerful like you, especially the skills, and shield you have." Justin said. "And, no. I did not report your existence to the higher ups since most of them are corrupted thanks to Admirals who came from rich, and influential families… Then again, it's your choice to report or not, but remember there will be bloodshed."
The Admiral smiled, and winked at Yamato before walking away leaving the quiet Empress by herself thinking. Yamato decided to head to the cafeteria to eat some breakfast as she continued to think about what the Admiral said. Did he really not report her existence to the higher ups of Azur Lane or did he lie about it?
"[If I'm being gaslighted by the Admiral… Then he's definitely no different from my boyfriend… God damnit, Justin, why do you have to be so caring, kind, overprotective towards me, yet play me like a fragile barbie doll.]" Yamato thought. "[Now, I need information about the corruption inside of Azur Lane.]"
