Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Shinano slowly turned to the side while rubbing her right eye, once she saw Yamato standing near the door waving her hand, and smiling towards her. The white haired fox woman froze in place for a few short moments then tears began to form, and dripped down on her face. She did not hesitate, and stood up to run towards her older sister then hugging her tightly.

Shinano: "S-sister..!"

Shinano cried on Yamato's chest while the Empress slowly stroked the back hair of Shinano trying to calm down the white haired fox woman. The Admiral looks at the two siblings still sitting down on the stage with a smile then grabs a cigarette from the box inside of his pockets, and the siblings continue their wholesome reunion after many long years after World War 2.

[Mini Timeskip]

Yamato is sitting down on one of the table, and chairs. She's reading the T2 Exp books while Shinano was beside her reading even though she is already level 125 the max level for now, there's no news of increasing the level cap. Although 2 Azur Lane recorded the history of shipgirls passing the level caps. The Admiral was still sitting down on the mini stage mindlessly scrolling through his phone.

Yamato: "How many books do I have to read…?!"

Shinano: "Around 33, but don't worry sister! You're already at 20 T2 exp books!"

Yamato banged her head on the table as a loud "thud" sound could be heard. Soon after, Shinano looked at her older sister.

Shinano: "Sister! Are you okay!?"

Yamato: "This shit is basically like math, but harder."

Yamato lifted her head up, and groaned angrily before going back to reading the exp book. Few moments later, the classroom's door suddenly opened, and a shipgirl with white hair, blue mixed with purple eyes entered the room. Yamato looked over to the girl, and immediately recognized the girl.

Enterprise, second ship of the Yorktown-Class Aircraft Carriers, and one of the strongest ships from the Eagle Union alongside the Essex-Class carriers. Enterprise's skills in combat is no joking matter at all, having the most battle stars on a ship is one of many evidences of Enterprise's skills.

The white haired shipgirl approached the Admiral, this caught Yamato's full attention although she pretends to continue reading to not be suspicious.

Enterprise: "Sir, the girls are ready. We just needed the green light to begin the operation."

Justin: "Ammunition?"

Enterprise: "Enough to destroy a city like New York."

Justin: "Good, begin the operation, and don't come back if it's not finished. I don't want any annoying pests disturbing us."

Enterprise: "Understood."

Enterprise left the classroom with no further interaction with the Admiral, Yamato was curious about what they were talking about? Ammunition enough to destroy a city like New York? She thinks it's likely to be some Siren stronghold that is too hard to destroy, so they needed that much ammunition.

Yamato: "Hey Shin, do you know what the Admiral, and Enterprise were talking about?"

Shinano: "No, although I heard the Admiral telling 5 shipgirls about something, but I wasn't able to hear it clearly, also I saw the same shipgirls coming out from the briefing room a few times."

Yamato: "Do you think the Admiral is doing something without us knowing? Like plotting to destroy a city?"

Shinano: "The Admiral wouldn't do that..! No! The Admiral will never do something like that which will harm a single human life."

Yamato sees her little sister being serious about the "false" claim of the Admiral hurting fellow humans, the Empress went back to reading, but also thinking about the operation the Admiral mentioned, and what it is about? Yamato can only assume so.

[Timeskip]

[Yamato POV]

After reading the exp books for hours, I finally reached max level. Right now, I'm walking around my ship. I also inspected the torpedo launchers ROB added to the ship. It was similar to the modern torpedoes like the Mark 50 Torpedo from the US Navy or Eagle Union in this world. I don't really think it's useful because I'm going to be assigned as a back line ship, not a vanguard ship.

As I continued on my walking, I accidentally tripped on something causing me to fall forward. My hands were the first to touch the deck of my ship, but I noticed something weird. When my hands touch the deck, a bright purple wave appears then disappears shortly after. I touched the deck to see if it reappeared, but didn't. When I punched the deck it appeared.

Yamato: "The hell? What the hell is my ship made of?"

I punched the deck harder, and the purple glow became brighter than before. Wait, the purple glow appeared if I punched the deck. It's like it activates when I come into contact with physical trauma. Is my ship made out of nanomachines like Armstrong from MG:V. Nah, my ship isn't made out of nanomachines, that's very unrealistic.

I stood up, I began to head to the bridge of my ship to see the equipment, but when I arrived I was expecting to be full of WW2 equipment, but Jesus. I was completely wrong because what I saw on the bridge was something unexpected.

Yamato: "What the hell? I was expecting my bridge to be World War 2 themed, but… NOT THE BRIDGE FROM SPACE BATTLESHIP YAMATO!!!!"
