"How could I forget my father; I've missed him too much that I can't spend a day without thinking about him," I said smiling and he laughed at the other end, I could tell he walked to go take his seat with the thud and sigh I heard from the other end, my father, I really miss him, I should be in his arms receiving comfort for all these things happening to me right now, shouldn't I?
"Well, if you miss him as much as you said, why didn't you try to reach out to him, you made him very worried you thoughtless brat, you've always been a selfish daughter, so I'm not that surprised," he said and I laughed before stopping my laugh
"I know you wouldn't be, I'm sorry for not reaching out earlier though," I said truly sorry
