"Babe, food is ready," said Damien as he entered the door just as I wanted to give Leila my smart reply looking towards the lady in question, she looked like someone just given a bag full of diamonds and without the need for her to pay, funny isn't it?
"Thank you so much darling," I said before standing up from where I was seated and walking towards Damien who dragged me into his arms, making me breathe in his sweet and intoxicating scent
"Are you still in pain?" he asked as he opened the door and let me get out first while I wondered why he would ask that
"No, I'm not in pain, why did you ask?" I asked him and he draped his arm around my neck before resting his head on mine making me wonder if the posture isn't hard for him
"You are still frowning just as you were before," he said and I chuckled before looking into his eyes
