I grip the steering wheel as I took several deep breaths and exhaled them. It wasn't unexpected for Sol to fall asleep from such a long journey as I glanced over my shoulder at him.
I smiled to myself as I gently ticked his hair behind his ear while he stirred from my subtle movement. I held my breath feeling rather guilty for no apparent reason.
Sol rubs his eyes in a bleary manner as he sits still for his eyes to adjust to the lighting in the parking lot. I watch him in silence as he lightly dozes off again before smiling.
How cute. He must be sleepy from working on that most recent gadget this past few days...
Suddenly, Sol shook his head in a startle and glanced around before meeting my eyes. He blinked at me a few times before calming himself down.
"Did you get a nightmare?" I leaned my arm on the wheel as Sol stared at me in silence.
"Am I still dreaming? Why do you look so sparkly?" Sol rubbed at his eyes again as I laughed.
