Three Years Later:-
In London:-
A woman walked out from the operation theatre with coldness and looked at her partner with rage and coldness.
She turned towards the patient's family whom she attempted surgery.
" Don't worry. The surgery is successful. But we have to send him to a coma for two days, so he can take a rest and recover quickly. " She said coldly, and the family thanked her.
She turned her gaze towards her junior, who lowered his eyes.
" Follow me! " She ordered and went to her cabin.
Her PA was waiting for her in the room, but the PA could say anything. She stopped her and gestured for the PA to leave the room.
Her PA, reluctantly, left her room, and the junior entered.
He turned towards her and threw a file at him.
He dodged it quickly and looked at her in fear.
" HOW CAN YOU NOT CONCENTRATE ON THE SURGERY? " She yelled at him.
He flinched at the intensity of her voice.
" Mam, I didn't sleep last night as I was celebrating my wife's birthday with her. " He tried to explain her, but she cut him off.
" JUST BECAUSE OF YOUR WIFE'S BIRTHDAY, YOU FORGOT YOUR FUCKING RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTY TOWARDS YOUR PATIENTS?
IS THAT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR PATIENTS?
DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT WOULD BE THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR MISTAKES?
THAT PATIENT WOULD DIE, OR WORST, LIVE HIS LIFE IN A COMA OR FULLY PARALYZED. " She roared, and he lowered his head as he realized his mistake.
" I am sorry, chair- " He was about to call her with her position, but when he saw the rage in the lady's eyes. He gulped his next word as he knew how much this lady hated when someone called her by her real position.
" I am sorry, mam. " He apologized and bowed in front of her.
She sighed and replied, " Jason, I know you are a good doctor. But you know your little mistake can make a patient live hell throughout their life. A patient gives their life to us. So we can make their life better, not worse. So, don't disappoint me next time. You may leave now. "
He nodded and left.
As he left, she sat on her seat and sighed.
Soon, there was a knock on her door, and she said, come in.
Her PA entered with an awkward smile.
" Boss, I know you are tired. But I want you to look at this file and sign. Please, it's an important file. " Her PA said and gave her the file.
She took the file and sighed.
" Please, make a coffee for me. " She said coldly, and the PA nodded.
She read the file and signed it after confirming it.
The PA gave her the coffee and left her room.
She took the cup in her hands and walked towards the window. She saw the amazing view outside the window and drank her tea slowly.
When she was finished, there was a knock on her door, and another person entered.
" Lily, can you tell me why did you do that surgery? " The man asked, who looked in rage.
" Calm down, Akaash. I did that surgery because Jason was about to make a mistake if I didn't enter the surgery in time, that patient could lose his life. " Lily said calmly but coldly.
Yes, this Lily is non-other than Teja.
She changed a lot in these years.
She became a cold, ruthless, and strict lady.
She owns this lovely hospital named "Life Care Hospital. " which became the no. 2 Hospital in London in just three years.
Her body became more beautiful and curvey which enhance her beauty.
She wore full clothes to hide those marks.
She never did plastic surgery to remove those marks as those marks made her strong, stubborn, and never let her forget her worst time.
" Yes, I know. But you know your right hand was injured for the last two days. If you have done a little mistake, that patient could die. That was such a bad idea to do the surgery from your left hand. Lily, you are getting more and more irritating day by day. " Akaash said in frustration, and Lily smiled coldly.
" Oh, come on, Akaash. Do you think it's easy for me? But do you think I would that jerk make that person life hell just because he didn't sleep yesterday? I don't care what he did in his free time, but I care about the patients.
I want every patient could get the best facility when they enter this hospital. " Lily replied coldly, and Akaash sighed in defeat.
" Alright, let's leave today. My work is done, and I know your PA handled your every word, and you must be free till now. " Akaash said, and Lily smiled.
" You are right, let me change, and then we will go home. I wanna make dinner for everyone. After all, today is your birthday, my friend. " She said with a smile, and Akaash smiled back at her.
Teja changed a lot these years. She only smiles warmly towards Akaash, children, and Akaash sometimes.
They left the hospital and went to Teja's home.
We went inside to see Angelina, Albert and Arjun were talking about a business deal, but they stopped when they saw Teja enter the room.
" Teja, I was waiting for you. Thank God! You came home early. " Angelina said, and Teja nodded.
" Yes, mom. I am planning to make dinner for everyone. Today is Akaash's birthday, and I want to do something special for him. " Teja said to Angelina.
Yes, she started to call her mom now.
Angeline helped Teja these years a lot, and Teja knew it was not her fault for all the things that happened in the past.
So, she forgives her.
" Oh, Akaash, Happy Birthday! I didn't know about it. Please, come and sit. " Angelina said, and they all sat on the couch.
" Arjun, how was your match? " Teja asked.
" Di, I won the match. I am happy you are making today's dinner. Please, make your special recipe for me. I was craving for that for days. " Arjun said with puppy eyes, and everyone laughed.
" Sure, dear. I will make that for you. " Teja said and turned towards her father.
" Did you take your medicines on time, Mr. Williams? " Teja asked coldly, and her father smiled and nodded.
" Yes, beta. Even I am feeling a lot better now. " Albert replied, and Teja nodded.
All these years, there is one thing that didn't change a bit. That is Teja's relation with her father.
She didn't ready to forgive his father yet.
Teja hides her identity as her chairwoman and Mr. Albert's daughter from the world.
Only her colleagues know about her real identity, but they have to sign the contract that they can't tell her identity to anyone.
That's how she is living these years.
That is Ms. Lily Smith, Chairwoman, and Neurosurgeon of Life Care Hospital.
