Chapter 56 - The Dodgy Blaster 3

I wasn't even shocked, just utterly enraptured with Aayla's choice of attire. If she ended up putting on the bunny ears I might've just lost it. Never mind Ros who was practically frothing at the mouth.

Down boy.

She really wore the hell out of that outfit. Since Aayla was markedly tall for a woman of her species, and had a few extra inches on the shoulders from all the training. The Corset designed for a more petite twi'leks really clung to her tightly, which only accentuated her voluptuous figure.

Swallowing back the saliva that rapidly formed in my mouth, Aayla returned to her bar stool and I had to snap the unresponsive Ros Lai out of her frozen state with a small jolt of electricity so we could place another drink order.

Hiking the corset up as she turned to me, instantly noticed my gaze lingering more than it should have, she explained her choice, "It was the only thing that I could find which was remotely acceptable to wear. The rest of the garments were all strangely cut in the fabric that made me show off far more skin than I thought necessary." Fiddling with the collar she asked, "Though I'm not sure what the need for this is."

Taking a sip of my beer,

It was a mistake to let her wear something like this. There's only so much a man can handle before his inhibitions begin to take a back seat, and the current Aayla is just too much for feeble mortal minds to handle.

Reaching beneath the bar, Ros Lai did the unthinkable, "Please, put this on."

Tilting her head as she looked at the oddly designed headband, she took it from Ros' hands and placed the contraption on her head just in front of the base of her lekku, "Am I wearing it right?"

"I can't." Ros' solemnly uttered, biting her lips, she put her stuff down on the counter and left for the back room that took you out to a balcony, "I'm taking five."

Torn between complimenting her, making a joke, and stopping the blood from rushing straight to my crotch area. All I could do was down the remainder of my beer and puff on my cig while giving Aayla a thumbs up.

It started with an initial stifling snort but Aayla's melodious laughter eventually rang throughout the bar, at that moment I realised it was all an act. She knew what she was doing from the start, and understood exactly how to get us wound up.

Wiping the tears that started to cloud her vision, Aayla barely managed to squeeze out, "Sorry, I just couldn't hold it in. You should've seen the look on your faces pft-" Before devolving into another wild fit of laughs.

I was nice seeing her unwind a bit, she ends up burning out from all the stress when we're on the battlefield, though I'm sure that's why she makes an excellent commander, "What happened to my innocent Master" I bemused to the giggling twi'lek.

"A year with you destroyed whatever innocence I had left. You could make a rock blush with half the things you say." Aayla replied, her laughing beginning to stifle.

"I only speak the truth." I tell her, tapping the grey ash from the burning head of my cigarette, "After all, you're very easy to make a pass at."

"Stop it, you'll make your Master blush." Aayla coyly said, though her mood turned slightly complicated when she realised her mistake, averting her eyes and swirling the drink in her, "Suppose you won't be calling me that anymore, not like you did it much in the first place.

"Depends, I'm not one to kink shame. If that's what gets you going I don't mind calling you Master." I offered, the corner of my mouth twisting upwards when the blue tone of Aayla's face began to redden.

While she drained the remainder of her cocktail in an attempt to cool down, I shot her a question that had been on my mind since the whole knighthood thing sprang on me, "So…when'd you put in that recommendation for my promotion? I thought it was going to be another few years before I got a sniff at knighthood."

An arm propped up on the counter, Aayla leaned her head into it and removed the red straw from her lips, "Two month ago, when we got back from the wheel. You were more useful than me during that operation, and I had already taught you everything I could so there was no use in delaying it further."

"Wish I could've had the talent to learn your infiltration techniques though." I pitched in, it still bugged me to this day that I wasn't able to learn force cloak.

"That's beside the point though. You know as well as I that the only reason we were paired up was so I could keep an eye on you. If we went by compatibility, you would've apprenticed under Master Windu or his old Padawan Master Billaba." She name dropped two of the orders most potent Jedi, both being masters of the form VII variant Vaapad and a powerful connection to the force.

"If the council weren't so paranoid about jedi's falling to the darkside, maybe you could've got something more useful out of your time as a Padawan." Aayla talked about hypotheticals as she stirred the cylindrical ice around her empty glass, giving voice to some of her inner insecurities and gripe towards the council.

Spinning around so my back was leaning against the bar, I took a drag from my nearly finished cigarette and while the smoke lingered in my lungs I shrugged, "There no point in dwelling over what could've been. The fact of the matter is that you were the one to train me, and you did a damn good job of it as well despite our styles being different. I mean come on, I'm the first one of my generation to become a knight by a mile." I reassured her.

While I owe it to Windu and Plo Koon for teaching me Vaapad and Electric Judgement respectively, and to a lesser extent Shaak Ti for her tips about tutaminis and mind tricks. Aayla was the one who took my existing skills and helped me refine them into a combat system instead of my previous habit of randomly using my abilities without much rhyme or reason.

Back from her…something break, Ros Lai walked back into the lounge. By her side was a curvaceous lady with snow white hair that contrasted against her tanned skin. Both of them were chatting merrily until the tan woman caught sight of me and made her move.

"How's it hanging handsome?" She said, her husky voice sounding remarkably pleasant.

Snaking an arm around my shoulder in a seductive manner, she brought her face exceptionally close to my own, causing Aayla eyes to widen in surprise not expecting the unknown woman to close in for a kiss.

Only she never managed to make it that far.

The clang of metal hitting metal was heard as the barrel of my wrist mounted blaster hit her lower jaw, "Didn't I say I'd scrap you next time you tried something like this again. Remember that Wires."
