A large, wooden board with the sign "Dol Hot Springs" welcomed Jace as he got off of the family car.
"Is this the place your uncle runs?" he asked as he closed the car's door.
A slam from the other door followed. Shane, his friend, got off as well. "Yep. Amazing, isn't it?"
Jace examined the facade of the building. It looked pretty old but not run down, making the place feel like it has some kind of deep-rooted history. The inn was obviously well-tended despite its old age.
It may not look like it but Shane's family is actually pretty well-off. They run one of the oldest hot spring inns in the country and although it was mainly managed by his uncle (from his maternal side), his mom also helps around and has a pretty decent portion of shares.
